I just think you lose a bit of the shock value when people can't work out what it is. :)

Yes I'm thinking of getting it all rebadged as a 1.2 classic :)

Don't worry I've stuck the aged ones back on I think they help make it look a bit more un loved as if it is just an old 1.2

Looking at seating is there any way that I could include the height adjustment as well as movement back and forth as I don't care about the weight on this one seat!

  • Author

As it happens not many companies do track seats that are lightweight yet adjustable :( looks like I'll modify a set of reclining track seats somewhen!

Could you get some spacers to adjust the height? With longer bolts too?

What I was thinking was drill holes in the side mounts so I can drop the seat in the mounts further down or higher up!

Yeah that could work

Yeah that could work

Yeah! As I want some good support at the right height I've got a mate who does rallying! I might pop up tomorrow as I know he's got some and he's made mounts for so I'll see how I cope with them :)

A scary thought but if the lightening of this continues I could potentially tow it on a trailer with the Clio!

Have you removed the wheel arch liners too?

Not yet! I've not been under it since purchase :giggle:

Is sat in some rather comfortable yet non adjustable Recaro bucket seats :) I think this is the way to go as long as I get the position spot on!

Better make it road worthy for when the inevitable happens... and maybe a removable tow hitch so it can tow the Clio home :)

Better off buying the mk1 Clio that is on forums for sale.
