financial suicide but id like to supercharge the 1.4 MPI, get one with A/C pull the pump off and fit a Scharger in its place.

Richards 1.4 MPI doesnt have AC

 

because of this:

 

it has a 5 rib instead of 6 rib Aux Belt (all pulleys are different too)

Misses the AC Mounting plate/bracket

alternator is different both rating and mechanical fixings

Chain cover might be different

different positioning of the auto tensioner/routing pulley

Dammit just get it for the top workmanship on it!

however at only £80 I might as well keep it! I need something to hammer about on track as I was reminded today by an officer that another offence like a dodgy bulb and that's my career hobby and licence all gone in one! So the basics are

1) I need to get on with it to keep my licence

2) I'm doing this in my own timescale I don't give a damn to be honest as these last weeks it's been a hassle to work on it rather than enjoyable like a hobby should be!

3) I'm not going to go stupid with the money it will be done as and when I can!

4) I'm going to get some decent seats as my back is killing

Exactly this! It will take as long as it takes! I'm going to get Freedom later on when I've worked out this online banking malarkey and put a lot of parts up for sale and get rid before I get more then I'll start to put new kit in it!

Clio 172 Cup down the road for £1000 so possibly more fun and cheaper than this will be in the end .............
