engine mounts coming along, not alot on day light after work these days. Lead lamp in one hand, welding torch in the other. Should get it finished tonight and make a start on the gearbox mounts

Sounds like fun outside :)

 

Have you got anything like this? It might make your life much easier to just leave them on than have to faff with lamps.

what box are you using mate also how much would it be to get adaptor plate made?? i am looking at putting 20vt into a bmw

using a Mazda RX8 6 speed box and diff. Pm me some details on what you are looking for

Crazy amount of work in this! amazing! How come you decided to go for the transverse mounted engine instead??

its longitudinal mounted for a more straight forward lay out and better weight distribution similar to any other conventional rear wheel drive car
