engine mounts coming along, not alot on day light after work these days. Lead lamp in one hand, welding torch in the other. Should get it finished tonight and make a start on the gearbox mounts

Have you got anything like this? It might make your life much easier to just leave them on than have to faff with lamps.

Yep got a few flood lights but all they do is cast a shadow when working in tight areas

more mounting work. Machined during my break at work then welded in the evenings.

passenger side mount not fully welded yet, ran out of time/light

its longitudinal mounted for a more straight forward lay out and better weight distribution similar to any other conventional rear wheel drive car

Makes sense mate, especially with the size of that box! its huge haha

yeah the rx8 boxs are known for being on the long side but very strong and relatively cheap
