hi all, i am tinckering with the idea of applying some sort of fabric to my dash, i don't like the light grew lower dash and i am thinking of like a leather on the lower part of the dash, just curious to see if anyone has ever modded the dash like this before

All the lower parts come off so should be fairly easy.

its funny you should say that, I have already took the whole lower dash off already over the past few days i have been tinkering around, cleaning & sorting things upgrading led's in the window switches and heater controls, I'm next going to create my own leather interior to look similar to the VRS but i want to change the lower dash to math the new seats

Look to specialist car upholsters and suppliers. I've tried general upholstery materials in the past. They tend to be thicker, harder wearing but way harder to cut and mould around any curves/corners. More suited to a sofa or sideboard than compound curves and styling lines in a car.
