Can you tell me please if there is anything major needs doing on a 10 plate Superb V6 3.6 DSG ( 52k ). I assume it will be it's 4th service.

DSG oil and Haldex (4x4) service is normally every 40k

 

Spark plugs due at 60k

 

Chain driven - inspection only.

 

Hope this helps. Worth verifying if Skoda have any deltas to the above though.

Don't think so, not right keen on the new Vrs, for an extra 20 bhp it's going to cost me boat loads, there too expensive I think and not keen on the Halfords styled rear exaust tips.

 

Think i'll be  going for a older upmarket car like a  10 or 11 plate  3.0L V6 XF.      we'll see

My V6 on long service interval  came up every 18,500 miles, however I was covering 20K miles a year.

 

So depending on whether "on demand" (determined by car) or fixed schedule, car is due service about every 18K or 9.5K on fixed.

Thanks for that but I'm a 5000 miles man or less in a year so I'd be on fixed servicing, on my milage don't think a service every 4 years would be any good

Well, I've still got my big silver barge, but my sensible Mondeo V6 wagon has been "replaced" by a 4-year old V W  EOS........

Yet another 2.0 TSi / DSG, with some nice toys, but much taller gearing ten our two Skodas.

 

Probably a daft purchase, but it's a nice car to pootle around in this sunny weather, & I fancied something a little different!

A sweet sweet car. So cosseting I didnt even realise i was accelerating except for the gentle purr of the V6. Look at the speedo to find im already at 80!!
