I would only ever drive a FGF if it was in an Arena Essex "Destruction Derby"....

So Richard, want to throw me the keys to the 1.4 8V Estate beast?

You rang?

That would be pretty epic, two FGF VRS pulling up for a track day.

Brakes are finally "sorted" alot more confident in the brakes now. they do stop well :)

Since the bleed the ABS also works properly now too.

So it drives well, stops well but just needs bit of a clean up. maybe spend a while on the seats to get them to come up  bit cleaner, get rid of a few spare parts (288 calipers)

When I got my first FGF it stank inside so I found an interior valeter that did the whole interior for £60.

Shampood (that sounds so wrong!) Seats, carpets, trim etc...

Came up a treat.

Maybe worth a go, does save a LOT of hassle.

my local Exotic (foreign) car wash does a cracking job for £10 :p

still have oily hand prints all over the front from when i did the head gasket! lol

atleast with the oil over the front i know nothing will rust hahah

Ohh I've heard he's a bit dodgy had 2 Fabias and drives a few dodgy white vans! He's a bit skint after all of the money he's spent on a clio

So what have you bought now!? :)

Sorry folks!

Bit late as i went out for a meal, Yes i sold the 04 Fabia to Mr Fox, bought a 05 Plate Fabia with Xenons from a dealer  :)

Silver, With Sunroof, Xenons, leather re-upholstered seats, very clean, few marks on the paint but is 9 years old. Its also got 115k miles on the clock.

Unfortuantely After collecting it and helping Richard get some bits back to his, i then hit dartford at 7pm so i didnt have time to get any snaps of the car tonight!

But...

Its got a few niggles which im going to sort out with the dealer. mainly being the clutch, was fine on the test drive, now seems to be slipping between 2k-3k rpm. not good!

Never done a clutch and i dont want this to be my first one! Also swapped my 17" alloys over onto it but because of the offset and the height the KW Coilovers are set to, its been scrubbing on the outer edge of the tyres a bit :S

bit of fettling in the following areas:

Get dealer to fix the clutch (doesnt go in 100 miles of driving)

Adjust suspension

Replace brakes - standard 288's are quite worn.

been pulled into work tomorrow, so if i get a spare chance i will get some snaps!
