Is that the OEM sunglasses holder? Do all Yeti specs not get one of these then?

Yep its the OEM holder, every other SE Business spec models like Octavia, Superb do (plus a couple of other extras like park assist) but the Yeti doesn't for some reason!

For an item that cant cost more than £3 to manufacture its odd they don't include it as standard!

Very odd. And a double win, as you've obviously got sunglasses that fit it!

Mine fitted the Octy, but not in the Yeti....

EXCITED !!! The cars booked in for the Bedford GT Track day on the 19th May :)

So as well as getting the work done at Shark:

- Stage 1 Map

- Bilstein B6 Shocks

- Eibach Springs

- Calliper Carriers & 312mm discs

- 15mm Spacers all round

As well as that lot I now need:

- to swop out the brake fluid (probably go for ADT 200 or Tarox fluid)

- replace pads (Tarox strada or Brembo HP Sport Performance top of the list)

- possibly some track tyres, had my eye on some Nankang NS2-R's, great reviews and only £300 a set :)

It never ends!!!

And I'm getting my new tattoos finished up today so the body is getting some mods too :)

can't wait to see this beast :)

Got the 15mm spacers on today so 30mm across both front and rear axles, started lashing it down just as I'd finished so I'll have to get some pics tomorrow.

I think it looks great, has made a big difference visually, how it should have looked from factory IMO :)

Couple of shots with the spacers fitted, I'm going to get the brakes sorted out today. I've gone with Tarox Stradas again, it was a toss up between them and the Ferodo DS2500, nothing in it price wise but I've used the Tarox before and was happy with them.

So today's list:

- Fit 312mm discs

- calliper carriers

- Tarox Strada pads

If I've got time I'll swop the brake fluid over to the ADE 200 :)

Also had a mad moment and fit some engine bay bling with a VWR Intake (yes I know there's no real gain) but it looks and sounds great, well IMO :)

Arrived at Shark Performance, took 3hrs to do 102 miles thanks to a numpty rear ending a truck on the M6!! The roads in this country have become massivly congested over the last 6-8years, partly due to free EU movement, another reason to vote out?

Couple of questions...as I'll be switching my dampers over quite soon.

Do the normal front bumpstops get re-fitted with the B6 dampers ? The shafts look a lot bigger on the B6, and I remember doing the same change on a Passat and having to dremel out the bumpstop hole to get them to fit. Reason I had to refit them on the Passat was because the protective bellows attached to the bumpstop.

Did you see how they remove the plastic trim at the bottom of the windscreen to get to the strut mount bolts ?

It was a straight forward swop, they didn't have any issues and it went on perfectly so you should be ok :)

I think they removed the foam rubber edging and it just popped off, I'll have a look to double check

the existing front bump stops will get discarded as they are mono tube inverted shocks so the front bump stop is inside the shock and can't be seen
