And secondly: What do you need them for? Smoker perhaps?

I wondered that too, what benefit do they give?

Got them from SuperSkoda.com

They are wind and rain deflectors. Useful whilst driving and not using air con so you can have the windows open in the summer. Also good when it's raining too, as no rain gets in whilst window is open, also creates a good circulation of cool air whilst driving down the motorway, again instead of using air con.

No, not a smoker at all. My personal opinion I think they look well good.

Highly recommend looking at their website, excellent service, quick delivery and email replies about products and any info is always fast and very helpful.

Looking to get a K &N air filter installed and front splitter put on there too soon. Apart from that I'm not modifying it anymore , small subtle things really.

Yeah i see what you're saying, but I generally like the look of them. You see them on a lot VW vans too

If you like the look that's cool I just don't see why you wouldn't want to use the air con

I'm tight mate, less air con used, less fuel used! Lol I know it doesn't have much effect really. I do use air con too lol

I have dogs, so its good to be able to leave windows open without the rain getting in.

Those combined with the windows being open probably generate enough drag to counteract any possible fuel savings.  :D

But if you like the look, it's all good.  :sun:

Memory mirror retrofitted on the passenger side .

Please state what is needed to retrofit? I am very keen on udgrading my car. I have normal sits and activation of mirror dip is a crap - this makes no sense, but your modification works great.

So the auction ended was this one: "Original VW Golf 6 Exterior Mirror Right". The mirror actually comes from a VW Touran, even if Golf 6 is on the auction, but the built-up for the Touran mirror motor is the same as in the Gulf 6. I was important that I was able to find while out looking for a suitable auction that the mirror has the memory function - in the last picture of this item was apparent this beautiful ("LLR conv ... HE Mem."). And due to the corruption of the mirror, I also get it very cheap, but it was certainly of good luck: D.

The mirror motor itself is part number 3D0 959 578 C, but has the disadvantage that the engines built rotate exactly in the opposite direction, that is, when the mirror then, for example, should tilt upward, it tilts down and vice versa. With right-left exactly the same. I have searched here for a while after a Umcodierungsmöglichkeit via VCP, but found nothing. In the end I both mirrors engines from Octavia Touran and disassembled (the case go quite heavy on) and the engines replaced (which is again very simple - the only plugged in). If someone wants to buy the mirror motor when new :), then you can probably handle the conversion of engines by finding out the part number from the Octavia mirror motor with electric memory seats, only to order this. Used but this will be hardly get I guess.

Another problem is the plug on the mirror motor. Motors without position sensors have only a three-pin connector; with position encoders an eight-pole (only seven pins connected). This eight-pin connector is hard to get individually - it can not be special ordered from VW / Skoda, the harness there are not individually and elsewhere in the network's plug often only in large quantities (> 1000). Therefore, I have also accessed at the auction and rather wanted a mirror including the wiring harness and found. The additional cable for the mirror motor I threaded through the mirror of the Octavia to the door control unit and extended, as it would otherwise have been too short. The three already exists veins I have soldered to the pins of the respective contacts of the eight pin connector.

On the side of the door control device I had almost all the wires from the mirror motor harness umpinnen, otherwise the assignment was not right. Here I can add the correct assignment the day time yet.

Oh, and the door control unit itself or something. I have in my O3 Elegance (MJ 2015) built a part number 5Q4 959 592 B, this dominated by activation of lowering the analysis of the position sensor. Perhaps there is in other trim levels still control devices that do not have a function that have to be assessed.

In the VCP I had to put the 33 "memory_mirror" to active the already known setting for the reduction is still via text encoding in the control unit 52, so that everything is working correctly.

When searching for retrofitting I am the way, stumbled across the site, which accurately describes this conversion Passat 3C.

You can by Supersprint exaust then you get pipe on both side.

Just seen this post, where can you get it from by any chance then? There's one thing that annoys me on my TDI VRS and that's the fact it doesn't actually Have a right exhaust

Here is a link http://www.supersprint.com/en/NO/prod-7269-14489-skoda_octavia_rs_20_tdi_sedan__sw_184_hp_2013_E28093E280BA.aspx

You can order it online and mount it self, or contact a local dealer for Supersprint and they mount it for some extra cash

Do I need all four parts or just "Y-pipe" and "Exit pipes"?

Sent using Tapatalk

Thanks. I am not familiar with exaust system so I have some basic questions.

Is this Supersprint solution replace OEM catalytic convertor and/or some sensors?

Second, what are functional differences between "centre exaust" and "centre pipe"?
