I only did the search to find out if you had NOS as your '3 2 1' style gameshow riddle was a little confusing. When you're finished with Dusty Bin maybe you'll feel like coming back and sharing.

I post on car forums to share my experiences of different mods and learn from others, if we all kept it secret there wouldn't be much point in my opinion.

Question for the CC gurus, do you need stage one before stage 2 and then 2 before 3 or can you go straight to stage 3.

Straight to any stage or upgrade as you choose.

Phase 3 generally only needed for big turbo applications.

I was looking at the CC site and noted on some applications very little gain between the CC1 and CC2, 3% BHP and 8% torque, just seems a lot for a little, not slagging it off in any way I'm sure it's just a development step.

No, no one has had phase 3 on a fabia yet.

I was thinking of going all out on my engine next year, but it looks like funds will be going on a decent holiday instead.

I assume those small increases were on non-turbo cars where gains are much harder to come by.

I don't know of anyone who has had Phase 3 on a Fabia as there's not many about with hybrid turbos. There's plenty of Phase 2 PD130 and PD150's that have been done though.

Josh has Custom-Code Phase 1 on his and is very happy. He ran it on RR day along with various other tuned and standard Fabia's in April, the results of which can be seen here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/showthread.php?t=25772

Midrange also has a hell of a punch.

Its very easy to stay on the power due to a huge amount of torque getting me there and sustained BHP keeping me there.

To be fair, some of the figures for CC2 do appear to only be marginally higher than CC1, but the figures for CC2 are estimates based around typical hardware modifications iirc.

Obviously, because the map is custom to the car on phase 2, if you've got some wierd and wonderful hardware, you may well get more than the power quoted on the website.

The big thing is the way the power is produced on Phase 2. I believe power and torque is held longer, and the map is a lot smoother.

With regards the map I was running on that dyno day, it was an early pre-release CC1, but as the whole CC thing hadn't been made public, I had to keep it under my hat.

Probably a bit more than that, I make 180bhp at 3750rpm (typical peak for remapped PD130 and at similar revs) raising to 235bhp by 5000rpm and holds this and more to over 7000rpm. So more like an additional 3500rpm

were you running c-c at this RR eddy? or was it too early? sorry cant remember when you swapped over
