It has been a long time coming, like the new Honda Civic Type R, so surely they have them right before release.

 

Ford & Honda are not quite like the VWG where they get them out there with Customers and if there are snagging faults 

nobody will really say much in the motoring press and we can sort it out on the QT.

George agree about Honda, but ford perfecting it's cars before production release???

The more I've seen of the mk3 the more I've come around to it. Purely for its driving characteristics. My local ford don't require a deposit to get onto the list (neither do Ford uk). Will pop down this week and get on the list - if nothing else I'll get invited to the launch

Not everyone wants a fast car that looks like the more basic models but with a few extra pipes sticking out the back.

 

I also don't believe you can make a judgement call until one is here to look at.

Pictures can make them look different with lighting, angles and photo tweaking.

Of all the RS i see around on the road in Scotland, and there a fair few about in all the colours i never see one being driven stupidly anymore,

they do rather draw attention to their selves in the look at me get up.

The last one i did was 2 years ago, a Green one at a crazy speed, and i saw that a few weeks later it had been written off.

Fortunately, I have seen and read enough to be able to make up my own mind. However, seeing it in the flesh I believe won't change that.

By the way I'm not slagging it off, if I was,a more, aggressive set of words would probably be used.

Is the focus closer to Denim blue than Race blue!

Looking at john999boys photos, still of same opinion on the looks as my original thread title - sure it will be very good fun to drive (and certainly wouldn't put my vrs up against it!) but still meh IMHO on looks.

Although be interested how colour compares to race blue oct as just order wife's scout in race blue
