First of the smartlinks! Have you plugged your phone in and did android auto/apple car play just work!?

Hi all, Unfortunately I went on vacation to Greece the day after I took delivery. I have a iPhone 6 and Carplay works well. As soon as you plug the cable in, the screen switches to Carplay and asks you to unlock the phone to get access. Not many iOS applications have Carplay support yet, but there are of course Apples own; Phone, Messages, Maps, iTunes Music and Spotify. I know there are a few more and more coming soon, but those were the ones showing up on my screen. When plugging the cable in and activation Carplay, the Bluetooth connection to the phone is disconnected, so you can only use the Carplay application for telephone functionality. I have a few more days in the sun, then back to investigate more..

I found out that mine was also on that boat. Not sure of current location.

 

@GAFF   Hi - my update is that car arrived in Sandyford today - and I could pick it up tomorrow, Thursday. Evidently, PDI'd and towbarred. Anyway - picking it up on Friday. :clap:

I can tell you that on the SE-L there is only the high biz vest under both seats, no storage bike under either

Sorry man !  - As my ident shows there-  I'm a Fabia buyer! Interested in cross-over info with other Skodas. 

Only getting standard Swing radio - not doing the mileage now to warrant Bolero and all the gumph...

And Style level Fabias have underseat storage boxes !!  Pretty small - but look like could be useful.

Xtremes do look good (hopefully they wear well). Only down side so far appears to be tire price....but I will worry about that next year.

All x3 RS in the garage had them.

The Irish RS also get the reversing camera....its location is part of bootlid open button (right side). I can see it having peoples finger stuck in it the whole time.

Looks like the there is a June brochure now which finally shows the correct details.  6.5" Amundsen/Bolero and the fact it has no CD player.  Columbus still has a cd drive though.

depends on how busy the workshop is, mine arrived Friday and I am collecting it on Tuesday

As long as smartlink is enabled and there's a reversing camera too ill be happy as I'd otherwise have specced nav and the camera...if they weren't I would be an angry man!

Things are looking up for smart link so, about time car infotainment got a bit better goo detective work Gaff

I see the UK site has another new brochure out, they have pushed the tax back up on the 1.4 tsi estate in SEL trim , back to Band D  (it was originally listed as band D then they cut it to Band C same as the SE and now back to Band D). 

 

No idea what band my car will be. Not sure that Skoda UK do either
