Aye, suppose it is a bit. I haven't bothered contacting Skoda UK as my dealer has been good at contact, but would have spoke to them for info if not. The Emden boat has left port this afternoon, so will take a couple of days to go to Grimsby and back

Ooh, but I assume there's a system of what cargo ships out and in which order. Like if there's a load of Audis there, blatantly they will be at front/squeeze in to front of queue.

When did you order bud? Yeah I'd be happy with that, I was told mine would be ready 4th - 11th of Dec so if it's ready in around 3 weeks time I'll be over the moon!

Yeah very true mate but they'll be one of very few that'll be infront of our vrs's

Ordered it on the 22nd August. Useless salesman said 12 weeks.

Quite lucky as I live quite close to sheerness and it is just under 15miles to my dealer.

Then into the dealers workshop and ready for collection.

If it does come in three weeks that will be a ten week turn around. Sweet !

Should be driving off the forcourt in mine next weekend!

Dealer confirmed it had landed in the UK Thursday evening. They should receive late next week, and have it ready for me by the weekend.

What specs have you gone for Aarond & Skodartford?

Mines vrs tdi 6 speed man (wish I went for dsg) with sunset glass and tow bar. So effectively stock bar glass and bar.

Wanted grey piping as well rather then red.

I'll get some rubber mats from the dealer.

Looking at spare wheel and jack kit from super skoda.

May get some winter wheels as well dunno yet.

What colour? I have gone for auto folding dimming mirrors, smartlink and heated front seats, also gone for the grey stitching too. Having tinting done after by the dealer as it'll be the same price maybe cheaper than factory, and I'll be able to choose how dark the tint will be

Nice add-ons chaps. Went for red stitching and smartlink; and asked for sunset a bit late...going to do the grill black and wing mirror myself (so most parts of the black pack). Will also buy the skinny-spare from superskoda, along with boot nets and tow rope! I spent about two weeks deliberating about wheels and winters...and I've kind of decided to just leave it. I work all around the county but the winter is hardly ever bad here, so if it is I'll just stay at home. Best car I've had for snow was a ford ka with wheels the size of digestive biscuits.

Race Blue. I would have loved to see the production line this week and count the amount of race blue vrs.

Aarond the are using a local company that do all their work for them will be between £150-£200

The only other thing I may get is the ready coded Columbus from that chap on eBay but not decided yet. Should maybe have got smart link to have my iPhone screen in the Balero.

£170+vat buddy, that's every window rear of the driver to whatever tint % I choose pretty happy with that

Just had an update from my dealer.

My vrs combi build date week 41 is now in transit to the uk.

He reckoned a couple of weeks till delivery.
