My salesman thought initially that delivery was to be anticipated between Novemer 9th and 14th. As you can imagine i am a VERY happy bunny.

 

Perhaps Sweden has good relations with Skoda :-)

My car is in the UK, cant wait!

Placed an order for a tdi vrs hatch with a few options on the 7th, been told 14 weeks to account for August shutdown, no build week yet to confirm though, still early days. Based on that, will be 2nd week in October. Be nice if it came early as baby is due end of September.

Vrs diesel manual hatch, black Pearl, black pack plus with 19" extremes, columbus, canton, heated front seats, spare wheel.

Cant wait.

Just got an update, car has been built and is awaiting transport so should have it within next 2 weeks.

Guess it's a way to make up for my delivery time - ordered May 29. - left the factory Aug 25 ..... and nothing heard since :-/

Advised delivery would be 10-12 weeks so middle to end of september

I Called Skoda UK today and they have given me an unconfirmed build date of Week 38, 14th september, and advised it can then take around 4 weeks to be ready for collection (unconfirmed because of the factory shutdown)

So in reality this is going to be middle of october which is causing me some issues as I wanted to sell my car at beginning of september before it turns three years old.

Built last week. Due to arrive in the UK tomorrow :-) Hopefully get it first week of october

Ordered a 220 VRS 4th August.

Original date given was 14th October delivery.

After a number of updates and delays Skoda UK are now saying build week 45 delivery 26th October and 5-6 week delivery!

Skoda UK haven't answered me to say why there is a delay. Thankfully my dealership have stepped up despite me nearly cocking up by ordering an in stock 230VRS somewhere else on a 0% that didn't exist.

I chased my order again with skoda uk, it turns out the dealer has had my car since the 16th. I actually rang on the 17th to be told it hadn't arrived. So it has been sat on the forecourt for a week. My payment on my current one came out today, am I reading too much into this or was this deliberate to get another months payment? I'm tempted to keep mine for a few more weeks now as I have paid for it...

Ouch. How much different was it?

Missing acc and park assist, it was on the signed order form. I even recorded the call woth skoda uk to confirm it was included. I have asked the dealer to re order for the same cost but its not looking likey as they are no longer a free option approx (£1100 extra). I am stumped, im considering the new superb. I'll give the dealer chance to make up for the error or it will be a very strong letter to skoda uk. My current pcp runs untill January end of. Any deals people are aware pf from specific dealers? The spec should have been 2.0Se L acc park assist, silver rails, tinted windows, tow bar, heated seats and window and smart link. I am so disappointed.

To be honest a superb is probably better value.

Sorry to hear that mate. Something fishy there given your post about being told not built when it was then magically at the dealers.

Ordered mine on 16/9/2015 delivery is 10 - 12 weeks so should be an early Christmas present :sun:
