I ordered mine around 14th August and build week is this week. Haven't had any confirmation from Skoda UK, MRJSVRS did you have to do anything is order to receive that email?

I ordered a VRS tdi estate in race blue, smart link and variable boot shelf are the only extras I went for. It seems like forever ago I ordered it!

It's in the country so should be ready on Tuesday I'm going to   work from home   that day

Ordered end of July / start of August.

Ordered mine on 4th September so an pleased it's got to build stage already. Haven't had to do anything, asked dealer a few times about build week and they just said we'll keep you updated, but heard nothing lol, have had a couple emails from skoda uk, first one welcoming me and this one today

Ha! I hope we get a date soonish, as I'd like to book the day off work to drive it lots and press all the buttons. I test drove a hatch and the boot is freaking massive

They were vague until the weekend then he miss called and emailed letting me know. Working from home sounds good! Ordered mine 25th August, so quite close MRJSVRS

The email I had said the build process is about 2 weeks then kinda figure another 2 weeks to ship and arrive at dealer. I'll paste the email

Got an update from the dealer, my car is on its way to Emden port... Hopefully a couple of weeks and it should be here (depending on ship availability)... So close, yet so far

Believe you can track it with the vintage number? Assuming that you have been given it by the dealer

Yeah I'm build week 41, assuming it must have been start of this week that it was built to go through the checks and have left already.

I didn't get a tracking number of any sort, dealer said they'd call me toward the end of next week with an update. I'm car-less just now so I'm excited to get it, means I don't have to share a car with my wife...

Ooooh for car sharing. It's moving your seat back every time takes a while to get used to. My good lady has my golf this week and I have a 1l Micra, that has random electrical faults and a noisy wheel bearing

Yeah it's not much fun sharing a car... Been borrowing a 1.2l motor as well at points and it's so slow. On the plus side my VRS will feel like it goes Mach 10 in comparison...

Definitely liking that week 41 turnaround, as in my email above it stated that build, spray and checks would be couple of weeks but I guess maybe that is the very longest it could take

I don't think there's any more factory holidays now until Christmas, so full steam ahead!

My dealer said it only takes two days to build the car! Seems quite quick but I guess when you have all the parts its not unreasonable that it could take only a few days

There must be a shed lid of race blue vrs going through this week. My vrs tdi combi is being built this week guess what in race blue

Although I was expecting updates from my dealer only to find that the original sales man did a set of legs a couple of weeks after I placed my order !

The boat Emden left the port Emden today heading for Sheerness ETA tomorrow and there is another one EMS Highway heading for Grimsby ETA Sunday.

 

I know this because mine was build week 41 as well and my dealer informed me Tuesday that it had already been built. Hoping its on the Emden as I'm sure this continues on to Ireland after Sheerness  :p

Boom. Dealer just rang: car is at the exit port and ready to be plonked onto a ship. Could be here third week of October! Proper excited!! Hopefully yours is there too MRJSVRS! 

That would be **** hot but I just get a feeling it's not lol.

Aarond what day last week did you hear from dealer that it was being built?
