Do you have an expected delivery date yet?

They do seem to be coming through quickly after build.

 

Mine only took 3 weeks from being built to me collecting it (I am collecting on Thursday).

ok, so I'm being a bit of a geek (and trying to keep my mind off issues with estate agents) and been doing some research on the shipping routes between Emden and Sheerness.  it looks like one particular car carrier (Gran Canaria) is doing a round trip every 3-5 days between the 2 ports which could well explain the short delivery windows from factory

Mines was built last week, so hopefully see it in the next couple of weeks..

I think i'm getting impatient this time as I'm fed up of sharing a car with the OH and its taking my mind off dealign with incompetent estate agents!!

So its not been built yet??? LOL.  

Just heard from dealer.....confirmed build next week!!!!

Ordered 4x4 DSG vRS diesel March 18th.

 

Email from dealer today to say due to be built next week and likely delivery late May, early June.

 

Less than expected

Just had a call from the dealer. 

 

Car arrived yesterday and will be ready for me to collect next Thursday 

 

ordered 22nd Feb collecting 28th April,  9 1/2 weeks from order to collection.

Mines still not arived at my dealers yet, email today to check but no joy 

Still waiting for an update on my vRS Estate.  Ordered 5th March, built 11th April, expecting an update today but last week (Tues 19th) was told still waiting to be loaded onto the cargo ship.  I was originally told end of May so not really surprised but given its now built i'm getting a bit impatient now knowing its sooo close...

Update, my car is now in the UK.  Hopefully the next 5-10 days might bring some good news on delivery date.

Still build week 20... dealer reckons around 20 days from built to collection...

African Highway does a lot to and from sheerness/emden and grimsby/emden with a day travel time each way and i believe that's one of the boats that Skoda uses. mine was at port upon ordering 2 weeks ago and is being delivered to dealer tomorrow/thursday for a saturday pick up (albeit a fabia) so the turnaround time is quite fast and i believe it arrived in sheerness saturday if my boat tracking skills are correct

About 12 weeks from order to collection

7 weeks from order to build and roughly 3 weeks to get to dealer from factory

Spoke to me dealer today, his response was

"Your Skoda Octavia is now at 'Status 20' which means it is in production, it will shortly change to 'Status 30' which will mean the car will be about 3 weeks away."

Ordered 22nd of March so hopefully will be a maximum of 12 weeks for me

I bet you can't wait Mines still not turned up at the dealership but been in the Uk 2 weeks now 

Ordered a Hatch DSG Diesel VRS in Race Blue with Black Pack, Spare Wheel and Electric Folding Mirrors on 10th April.

 

Was informed today that the order has been alloted Build Week 20 which is W/C 16th May... so 5-6 weeks after order.

 

Dealer expects the car to ready for handover early June, possibly late May if I'm lucky.

 

It's replacing my 63 reg O3 Elegance 150TDI which was on PCP, the dealer gave me £190 equity which isn't bad, I'd looked a few other brands and they were valuing the car around £1,000 less now which left me in a position where the car was already worth less than the final payment on my PCP if I had ran to the end in September!

 

Really looking forward to it, a little disappointed that the 16MY VRS doesn't have an autodimming rear view mirror any more though, or have I miss read the latest specification list?

Well its here! At 2.15pm today I was VERY SMILEY!!!!

 

 

Been for a spin and can I lay to rest this myth of the ride on Extremes being bad - It absolutely is not! Took mt 74 year old neighbour for a spin & he actually commented on how smooth and quiet it was!!! Done about 50 miles & so far so good., just got to get to grips with all the functions now.

 

Dealing with Terry at New-Car-Deal was the most pleasurable way to spend 28k! Absolutely & totally hassle free and the best price I could get from anyone - & I emailed every broker I could find!!
