Looks the same as the one I'm expecting in June - makes me want it even more seeing yours now! Great to read that about the ride, although I'd have put up with it being poor with the car looking that good!

Drives lovely and I've had many new (company) cars - this is mine though!! Honestly dont understand the "you'll have to wear ear plugs" and "you'll be sorry you had the 19's", etc comments I've read. Not bumpy at all - Well not compared to my aged Altea SE, and as for noisy, well unless its in 'sport mode' when the tractor engine drones & the DSG box is holding back all the time (wtf is that about - pure nonsense!), its as quiet as I'd expect any new car to be. REALLY please with it, so glad I had the options, panoramic roof is fantastic, heated leather seats are so comfortable, Columbus has got some great features, Canton sounds really good, active cruise is amazing, etc! Done about 100 miles spinning about (4 miles on it when I had it) mainly in ECO mode and the ECOnomy isnt special - about 35mpg & I aint been giving it any welly at all - hopefully it will loosen up and get better. This time next month it will have over 2k miles on it so it wont be long! Presently though I am very pleased, pleased with the car & very pleased with the service, price & buying experience I had with New-Car-Deal.

Mine is build week 16 too and I ain't heard a thing from the dealer for about 3 weeks.

I am getting a bit impatient now as getting fed up with waiting.

I went for vRS 4x4 estate quartz grey with black pack. Had bw of week 16 and it arrived yesterday evening. Looks like the same dealer - Lookers Manchester? They said Tuesday for mine too. Apparently mine was only 3 days at port and I think they had to fill the transporter yesterday. Got lucky I suppose.

That's very interesting, I am also a 4x4 vRS built in BW16, I am very hopeful mine will be ready soon

you did get lucky!! Mine was built week 15, still no sign at dealers!! :-(

Mine is still stuck at the port at Sheerness and has been for a week.  Fingers crossed next week.

Yeah same place, got to go in tomorrow and sign the paper work but have just noticed they've forgotten to knock £200 of the bill   and my dealers not in tomorrow. Who was you dealer? 

Well that was a waste of time... just popped down to skoda to sign all paper work and pointed out the overcharge that was pointed out 2 days after my original order. The sales guy went to speak with his manager as my sales guy doesn't work weekends, he came back and said it would of been noted at the time and account for part of my discount. So I told the sales guy that that's not the case as I emailed my dealer and we agreed to add the black design and knock £50 of the price plus I changed the GAP cover at £500 to kessy at £400. He read the emails they went off again then came back said I can't sign for it today as they need to do a new invoice and credit agreement but first have to speak with my sales guy whos not in until Tuesday. So wasted my Saturday morning and still not agreed that I am right.

Oh, all you lucky guys in the UK...

I ordered my Octavia late January, was given a delivery time of 4 months, and I guess I have to be thankful if it doesn't get to be even more than 4 months.

I live in Cyprus. How slow are the boats to get here?... Are we considered lower priority customers over here?

Apparently my dealer says my new VRS is showing as left the factory and is sitting waiting at the port of Embden so they will be in touch again when it lands in Grimsby.

I may see it soon then.

I order mine last Monday should hopefully have a build date next week! Said 12-14 weeks on build sheet

you might be in luck, the SCHELDE HIGHWAY left Emden for Grimsby about 5 minutes ago!!

 

I'm hoping mine has been built and is on the train by now

I've had an email from our fleet company to tell me the dealer said it will be with me early June. Order signed off last week of February, built w/c 4th April. On holiday last week of May/first week of June - hopefully come back to a new vRS!

Can't wait, although I'm not sure whoever signed it off really knew what I put in for!!

Mine took 2 weeks from Emden to dealer.
