Well, had the email from Terry at New-Car-Deal to tell me that my car is at the preparation centre having its PDI, etc. Initially it was going to be delivered to me on the 6th May but I asked if there was anything sooner available and to my delight he phoned me back an hour later to say it was my lucky day and that a slot had become available next Thursday :-)

So, ordered Jan 29th, delivered April 28th (he says!). Cant bl00dy wait!!! :sun: :sun: :sun:

New Car Deal...not heard of them, will google in a minute. What is the preparation centre, I was hoping the PDI would be done at a Skoda dealer.

Mine went from week 13 to 14, might give the dealer a shout in the morning!

So did mine, mines now in UK and has been all week but still not made its way to my dealers yet. I dropped in my new plate to go on it    and ordered a rubber bot mat

Well my time has finally arrived and i pick up my DSG VRS Estate tomorrow lunchtime - just one more sleep!!!

 

I went and saw it last night in all of its protective wrapping and wow I cant wait!

Ordered on 27th Feb BW 14 arrived in UK on 18th April pick up on 22nd April - much quicker that the expected 3 months.

 

Hope this info helps others as i did not think i could make it through all this time but here i am!

I ordered a month later than you and was quoted 12 weeks so hopefully mine will be more like 8 too!!

The preparation centre is, apparently, where this big dealer group get their cars pdi'd, etc. He told me many large dealerships have them, rather than taking them to the dealerships unprepared, they go to their preparation centre, get prep'd then get transported to the dealerships or lease companies. Said the dealer group he uses does the same with Ford & Nissan vehicles. 

 

Terry at New-Car-Deal has been great to deal with so far & was the best price by a grand. Hope the service carries on until next week :-)

That's a quick turnaround! Mine was BW 15, doubt I will be picking mine up a week tomorrow! Enjoy your day tomorrow, hope you can get to sleep tonight! ;-).

Just had phone call from broker..... she will be here on the 6th May, ordered 3rd March. Scout 150, Candy white. So the waiting is over. Only around 9 weeks total. Much better than first told! Have a feeling this two weeks will be the longest.

Just had a call from the dealer. 

 

Car arrived yesterday and will be ready for me to collect next Thursday 

 

ordered 22nd Feb collecting 28th April,  9 1/2 weeks from order to collection.

Sorted the paper work today and got a brief look at the car being prepared.

 

Not long now....Picking her up at 12:00 tomorrow

Had an update from my dealer. Ordered on 25th March. Car being built on 23rd May and delivery 4 weeks laterish

Eurgh that's a terrible update... What spec? I ordered mine a couple of days before but was hoping it wasn't going to take that long

Broker has advised no updates, still BW 19 for delivery early June. Ordered 17th March. Was really hoping to get the BW down by a week.
