What about the things that annoy you?

Featured Replies

Having another car key (fob?) AND other keys makes a pretty big package. I think you have identified your problem right there.

It would drive me insane having all those dangling/rattling while driving.

  • There are very good reasons for driving on the left   1.Your sword arm always faces the oncoming traffic 2.Your horse-whip does not snag in the hedges 3.You do not end up walking in the gutter whe

  • Seriously people, just start driving on the right side of the road so manufacturers won't have to bother with trivial stuff like that anymore!

  • There is a persistent squeaky noise coming from the front passenger seat.       (I keep telling her to shut up but she won't................ )

Things that annoy me, useless dealers !

After all they are taking our money but don't seem to want to work for it !

Problems chap? When are you due to pick up?

MRJSVRS at this precise time I reckon you would be able to tell me better. Lol

What was your order date again bud?

Ok 3 months in, the start stop is driving me mad! Reckon I'll need to try and get it switched off permanently.

The headlights are also poor, the most annoying thing is xenons aren't included on a scout for the price.Brighter bulbs are needed for winter.

I can recommend Osram Night Breaker Unlimited bulbs. Have used them on my previous car and they were excellent, brighter than originals and produce a whiter light.

Ordered mid August. Although my useless salesman said the car was at the dealership so your guess is as good as mine. Lol

When did the salesman tell you it was at the dealership?

Wednesday or Thursday this week, gerrrrrrrr !

Have you been to see it it yet?

Apparently it's in there 'off site' storage.

I have found out tonight that I will sometimes have to sit in the back to let the kids warm their bums up......

Not sure if that is strictly a failure of the car though, or me being too tight to pay for rear heated seats when we ordered....

I cheaped out and only ordered front heated seats. My not-yet-born son will probably still be in a child seat by the time I start thinking about a new car.

Not that it gets used that much, but only having one rear fog light enabled when there are 2 fitted. It's my OCD liking for things to be balanced.

Yeah, I find this a tad annoying too.  I was told once - by someone I can't remember - that it was due to the fogs possibly being mistaken for brae lights.  Well that must be cr*p, as when going to work down the M80 the other week I saw plenty of cars with two rear fog lights.  So who knows what the reason is.

I queried that when collecting mine...  I always thought that if a bulb was fitted it had to work for the MOT...?

Or just the fact that that it would be sods law you get a blown bulb on a foggy day and get rear-ended. one light good two lights better

or if the other one came on if the first one failed i could live with that but its not THAT clever

Not rear fog light bulbs I don't think, the offside rear fog light must be working to pass the MOT, none others count.

On or after April 1st 1980 you must have a working rear fog light fitted to either the centre (like the Peugeot 206) or the offside of the vehicle to pass the MOT.

Fair enough, forgot about centre ones, thanks :). Just a nearside one though would still fail an MOT?

Yep. I'm still an advocate for having 2 fogs as they would indicate both sides of the car in front if you were in a real pea-souper. If you can only see one - even if it IS the OS lamp - who's to say the driver in front of you hasn't strayed way off course in the fog?

Getting a call today from the dealer to ask if I was ready to have the car serviced, I thought the service records were recorded by Skoda, yet they did not know the car was serviced a few weeks ago.

Getting out of the car with the engine running, reaching for the boot, than realizing that the lock button was turned on before I got out of the car.

Annoys me that I'm still not out of the habit of nudging it into neutral at traffic lights

Stop/start's on, so the icon in the top right of my maxi dot changes from N or D to the A with a ring around it. Lights change, brake off, engine re-starts and I don't pull away - coz I'm in neutral. Eejit  :dull:
