Well mine is going form bad to worse had email from dealer saying i now have a build week of week 7, which has cheesed me right of, but it seems the dealer is as annoyed as i am and when orders on 21st October, they had issues ordering From skoda uk due to roof rails. Once order placed on 31st October been sitting for until now without a build week, and now has week 7, have seen screen shot from dealer showing factory lead time for my model at ordering of 6 weeks so way over that now.

 

I await skoda uk to call me back and we ask them some some questions.

Hmm, so it looks like from the recent comments that my order (12th October) could be even later than Jan/Feb!  Haven't had any communication from the dealer recently, think i might give them a nudge on Monday.  

 

In some ways I'd prefer getting delivery in the start of March to the end of Feb, as it would then be on a new 16 plate!  Had a company car in the past that was delivered 2 weeks before the reg changed, brief glow of a new registration...!

 

Beginning to wonder if I should have gone for a high spec Octavia instead, would have been here by now...possibly...

Spoke with Skoda, the unconfirmed build week is 52, however factory is closed then so likely to be 'sometime' in Jan. Why provide a bloody build week when its closed. Ordered 18th Sept

Perhaps its being built in Ireland ?

Ordered on the 19th November for delivery in March, no production details as of yet, just confirmed the configuration with the dealer

Cheers, before they changed it to the 280PS my original 220PS was showing as week 06, the dealer couldn't understand why it changed, either way it was always going to be a March delivery for me so no issues either way. 

 

I was really surprised that the insurance quote was just over £10 a year more for the 280PS over the 220PS and I live in Beirut (otherwise known as Walthamstow, London E17)!

Yeah its amazing. The 280 is better on fuel than my old 1.8 Scout. The Tax is less and the insurance is only about £35 more a year !

Speaking to Skoda CS today, I'm told that my order is "scheduled for W2". Neither confirmed nor unconfirmed - but somewhere in between!

Your spec is not dis-similar to my 280 (in red though with towbar/camera/19" amongst other things) and I ordered mine back in October with a current BW of 08.  Maybe they have a lot of brown paint that they want to get rid of quickly so are prioritising yours

It must be the tow bar that's increased your build time

I have ordered a brown urn and have been advised 'June' 2016 (although he didn't actually say which year ) ) I believe this is due to the Sunroof not being available. Haven't got an SLI yet as only placed the order on Saturday. Hopefully this will come forward.

Just been told my little baby is built and awaiting transfer. Should be with me first full week of Jan!

I have sunroof (standard ver as its hatch), beige leather and tow bar on my order. Checked with Skoda and they confirm its all correct and booked to be built next week.

My Cappuccino beige/ beige leather L&K 190 DSG estate ordered with Newcardiscount on 21st September was delivered today

 

Need to read the manual enough now to work out how to use the toys.

 

tried to close the drivers window (once out of the car) using the lock button on the kessy fob. Window closed but 'bounced' back open as soon as fully closed. had to get back in the car to close it properly. probably me doing something wrong.

Got an update on Monday from dealer saying mine has been built awaiting shipping, scheduled handover 2nd week in Jan... counting down the days now!

Car confirmed as built on 8th Nov... latest update, car at uk port but dealer can't get it out before early Jan. A nominee for Efficient Supply Chain Awards... nuts.

I suspect your dealer wants to register it in Jan. Mine was built on the same date and I took delivery a week and a half ago so seems a bit fishy.
