Ok, nice... Then 220TSI has fake one...

On mine this is only attachments for the rear bumper. No one said it has to do something. :)

It is just a matter of how it looks.

Yeah, defo not fake one the 272/280.  I'm sure 'someone' will also mention valves at some stage too 😂

Who did that work for you @Buocius? From the pictures it looks a good job..OEM.   Did you get the parts new or source them from salvage?

Those were already installed when i bought it. Previous owner said it's OEM.

As this picture is not your car, all I can say is the above is an accessory item.

In your post of your beautiful looking Superb, the rear end appears to have two (either side) distinct tail pips that look just like mine (as pictured).

But maybe not when viewed up close.

In Australia we have;

140TDI (140kw Diesel)

162TSI (162kw Petrol)

206TSI (206kw Petrol 4x4 with dual exhaust tips either side) 272/280 in UK...

So your 140TDI has twin exhaust pipes, the same as a 206TSI.

That I haven't seen before on a Diesel...

same as L&K comes without rear spoiler :)

@ope126 when looked up close, it is fake on mine. Just looking like real ones from a distance. It has a pipe which is angled to a ground, as all stock Superb diesels :)

Correct :)

This one if "Stolen" from Sportline

Here those fake pipes and spoiler looks better. Photo taken before debadge.

Ha! I claim copyright infringement! That's a picture of MY car!  😎  (Ooooh, I'm so proud.)

Diesel have a real exhaust only on one side, and no tailpipes.

220 have real exhausts on both sides, and no tailpipes.

280 has real exhausts on both sides, and also have real tailpipes.

Diesels and 220 can have a Sportline diffuser as an option, as per @freelunch car.

@Buocius has the fake tailpipes stuck on.

Here in Oz, we don't get the option to get Sportline accessories for the Diesel or 220.

I bought a Sportline rear diffusor from SuperSkoda and retrofitted it to my 220.

Looks much much better than the boring old plastic.

On my TDI190 L&K, I would be tempted to replace the original plain diffusor by :

- either the sportline version diffusor

- or cut the original plain diffusor on t he left side / cut the 2 original pipes (turned to the ground)) and weld 2 straight (horizontal) polished stainless steel pipes as on my former Superb Mk2 TDI140. But not fully sure of what the result could be... 🤔

@Buocius Not sure to get it right. Your MK3 is also a TDI190 with fake tailpipes? If correct, where did you get them? They look much better than the fake ones sold by superskoda?

Thank you...

Well, as I said it was already installed when I bought this car and previous owner said it is OEM. So cannot comment how did he get it... Sorry.

Can you then take a closer picture pointing upwards please?

Not the best quality shot, but still you can see how it is attached and how it looks like.

There is also a metal trim line between those two "exhausts"

And by the way, those are not plastic as SuperSkoda solds...

@Buocius Thanks ! Better look than those sold by Superskoda, indeed ! Quite surprised, it could be OEM stuff. But... why not?

Is there any P/N written on them (could be 2 different P/N for left / right side)?

Thanks again! ;)

I could double check for PN tomorrow once it is daylight ;)

Your metal bumper protector looks great, how much and where from?

Thanks

It's the same story with bumper protector as with tail pipes. It was already installed by previous owner (or dealer, no idea).

So cannot truly answer this question.

I got a matt black one from Superskoda. Goes well with Moon White.

@Buocius Indeed, your fake fishtail exhaust might not be OEM.

Look very similar to these ones.

Good news, I now know where to buy them, if I want... ;)

@New2018 Look on this website, you may find the metal rear bumper protection too. Didn't looked for it, but I guess the previous owner has made a grouped order with the fishtail exhausts. ;)

I thought I'd color match my roofbox:

Time for winter set ;)
PS. 272 horsepower vs 2 real horsepower (spot it ;))
