OK back of your very spacious limo as usual.

Best colour for the Sportline IMHO.  Just not the best colour for ease of cleaning and maintaining...

Always avoided black cars in the past due to the dirt showing so easily.  Now have a car black both inside and out.

Does look nice clean though!

Haha i was same but as the sportline with some options i wanted came up colour was decided.  It is very black. Ive used a ceramic coating that you apply yourself which so far i am very pleased with the results. Has a nice shine to it even after a heavy rain and drive.

Water beads up real nice and stays even after a normal wash.

The first professional bath for my beauty with the products of Gtechniq.. (Wheels removed, arches are fully cleaned, the engine bay fully cleaned)

Following polishing, and after that - Coating with Crystal Serum - and last but not least over coating with EXOv4 Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating. All trims will be restored with Permanent Trim Restorer C4.

Photos from the detailing shop will follow :-)

I am very excited to see the final result...

On a similar note, what to members usually wash/protect their car with in the UK. My previous cars have been £2k-£3k run around, so turtle was has done the job, but I think my current car deserves more. Two fold:

1. How to repair small chips; and

2. How to protect the paintwork long term?

Cheers.

Lots of help and advice to be found in the "Styling and Car Care" forum.

Mine is silver and I use Auto Finesse tough coat, takes about an hour to apply, lasts about 5-6 months. This also gives the silver an extra gloss.

Unfortunately they stopped the 190 bhp in the sportline so I went with the 2.0 tdi 150 with DSG.

Some people rate the 150bhp version over the 190 probably feels torquier lower down the rev range.

Had a 54 plate Superb long time ado with the 130bhp 1.9Tdi engine and Tiptronic (Audi) 5 SPEED AUTO. Wasn't very economical about 35-37mpg but anyone who had a passenger ride in it loved it. It was a maroon colour and Elegance spec, it even had Sat Nav.:o

I just got rid of 52 plate 130bhp 1.9tdi manual. I was getting 50ish mpg. Loved it. Had 252,500 on the clock!

Huh, you call that not many miles?

I had my first service at 6,000 and the second year's service at 10,600.

Yeah, it's a funny world and it shows how much we will spend on a car.

I could probably take taxis cheaper, but it would not be as much fun.
