I just purchsed vcds and got through the forum.. I have my17 with a5 camera and want to activate lane assist, traffic sign recognition, refuel quantity.

Ok let me inform regarding my results  i have activated refuel quantity, offroad mode, throttle response to audi, lane assist, door lock on slam etc.

 

i have activated also traffic sign recognition however i have following remark ( see photo).

 

i dont know what the problem is. Does anyone have experience for this?

 

Worth to mention that i did not activate the following code hence there were no option in my superb

Yes gizmo i tried driving the car in city and in highway. I also pass the border to see if it will work in neighbor country but no luck. I have passed several road signs though. I don't know if is something related to the region or something is missing in my coding.

I see, I know the off road display but I thought you enable off road driving mode like eco, comfort, sport.

Were you in Serbia? Because in Serbia TSR does not work. Tested.

In fact i am in Kosova and also traveled to Albania to see if something changes. I will give a try to Macedonia or even to Bulgaria or Greece in next weeks. But i was sure that was something that i have done wrong and not something region related

Not having any luck with this at all. Firstly it doesn't show as 'Front /Rear cameras' and is displayed as 'Frt Sensor. Driver Assist'. After selecting as instructed am getting the the following. 

 

 

As you can see there is no option to select anything on Byte 1. I have checked through all other options on this controller and there is nothing resembling 01 coding_VZE Coded. I did consider changing Byte 1 value from 4 to 5 which would set bit 0 to 1 but didn't in case it messed something else up. On checking Byte 0 as instructed it just gives you a list of different VAG car models, though Skoda Superb Limousine  & Combi was on the list.

 

Step  4

Controller 17 (Instruments)

07 Coding

Byte 5

Bit 2 Enable - "Traffic Sign Recognition installed"

 

Selected bit 2 as instructed and this activated OK but got the following message on the maxidot

 

 

each of the other steps appeared to go OK but the end result is its not working. Any suggestion would be gratefully received.

TSR on Superb 3 is in Controller A5 not in byte 0!!

 

TSR must be activated in byte 16 bit 4. 

If you change something in the first 4 bytes in Controller A5, in worst case, you delete the calibration of the camera

I am experiencing issues as well with my S3 combi 1.4 DSG.

For a couple of times already, my cruise control (I don't have ACC) failed during driving. Sometimes it failed while it was on, and sometimes it wouldn't even start.

I've checked the logs via VCDS, and I see that this error is logged:

Finally got TSR working using Gizmo 68 instructions with a few changes. 

 

Forget the coding changes on Byte 1 in A5 there is no option anyway.

 

The only other change is in

leave this TICKED

 

rebooted Columbus though not sure it's required and it seams to be working ok. 

 

Went for for a quick drive around the village. Alarm comes on at pre defined setting. No pics as not safe while driving.

Managed to enable the following 

 

Enabled Traffic Sign recognition.
Enabled high beam assist.Works great
Enable refuel quantity in the Maxidot.

Enabled Driving mode in Maxidot
Enable rear lights with DRL’s.
Enable DRL's in Menu.
Changed Ambient lighting from warm white to red. Looks great.
Changed throttle response to Audi. didn't notice any difference so switched back
