Had to drill front panel to get to the A/C mounting bracket. Opened them up 17mm to allow me to get a screw through easy.

Good work, I thought these were direct fit no cutting required, wonder if the front panel/rad is different on the lower engines

  • Author

No exactly the same. I had to do it on my vrs. In fact i did a DIY thread years ago [emoji23]

Appraently the cupra has quite a restrictive pipe to gt around the cutting of things [emoji23]

You too mate :),

Thought you were fitting the 312's back on

  • Author

I was. But will want the Brembos on at some point.

Trouble is these wheels have all been balanced correctly so a few weights on the front of the barrel. Just where the calipers will sit. The FR wheels i removed the weights [emoji23]

Finished off my intercooler install. Tidied up the crash bar and also put holes down the centre of it.

Wired in the fogs so they now work as they should.

Got bored so put the heater on in the garage and bolted up the rear beam. Just need to do cables and bleed brakes.

Trial fitted new wheels which fit perfect even with full weights.
