  • Few parts to add to the list.. And new 'daily/drive to track day' wheels arrived. And fit :-) Then i've been to collect some of Bens parts he's no longer using on his Fabia.. Fibreglass boot,

  • All fitted, all rattles and clonks gone. This Scale suspension is the shizzle. So well made its defintly worth the money. Damping set to halfway (6 clicks out of 12) Up on the ramps stripping everyt

  • Fitted driveshafts and all bolted up. Wheels on and lowered to the floor. All intercooler pipework installed, just front bumper to chop up to fit.   Started it and it runs!!! WHOOOOOOO

Tidying garage decided to see if my chinest gaige holder fits.. it only took 2 months to arrive.

Yeah thats the plan. Need to figure out how im getting the dash in before that stage though.

Decided to fix the driveshaft and book onto another trackday next week.

i did this at snetterton and drove home on it. Made me laugh when it fell out the hub..

Well started on the dash..

We agreed the best way was to chop the dash in half then mark up on the dash where to cut, chop it, then if it looks good we had a template for my spare dash.

We did such a good job with it that its now in and will do until i take the engine out and rewire the car.

It was rusty as feck too.. but actually cut it quite well.

ignor the cable ties as they will be covered up by the gauge pod once installed. The joint down the middle isnt as bad now it actually looks alright..

Yeah made is laugh that you guessed it was a fabia dash streight away.

Take both back bits off, fit Fabia front to FR clocks. Done. Oh you need some arrows for the indicators, cut from the Fabia face overlay and glue to the front section, so the light shines through and shows arrows. Don't use glue that reacts like I did :)

Pretty much what I did as well. Also used the fuel gauge motor from the fabia clocks so the gauge now goes the right way.

Or put the Ibiza sender in the tank :)
