Sorry For the delay in responding

Yes the unit does have a PIN code

The unit initially intermittently lost sound, after powering off/ on a few times the sound went totally., a few attempts later the screen went white and after that the unit failed to power on at all.

After removing it from the car and refitting I was able to eject the DVD, but still no sound or Display

Hi Paul,

I think all you need to fix this unit is this:

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/281773699558?ul_ref=http%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F0%2Fe11010.m1951.l3160%2F7%3Feuid%3D8d78fe190dd44a2cbf53d053107045ff%26loc%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fcgi.ebay.co.uk%252Fws%252FeBayISAPI.dll%253FViewItem%2526item%253D281773699558%26srcrot%3De11010.m1951.l3160%26rvr_id%3D0&_mwBanner=1

This module controls both power and audio. It is very easy to fit also...

Thanks for that but I wouldn't be able to test

It would mean that someone would get a cheap Columbus IF it did fix it

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi, did this sell?
