Hoping to have a refill arrive on my DW - Pro Edition wax today.... all being well.

My Definitive Wax Pro Edition V1 - lasted 18 months all in all.

Pot #1 of 10; from the initial launch batch - with lifetime refills!!!

So my "free for life" refill is with DPD today......

2 great updates on this received yesterday..... the Refill pot will be New Pro Edition V2.

Plus - as its taken longer than expected (5 weeks so far) - i get a 2nd pot for FREE!!!

Slightly annoyed that its taken so long - but a nice gesture from the Definitive Team.

I'm glad to hear that this makes waxing/polishing more enjoyable to be honest, as especially polishing by hand just with a foam applicator can be a very daunting process, especially with waxing also as I'm gripping the applicator because I don't want to drop it on the floor! This should solve that issue & be more comfortable/enjoyable to do.

Well - last day of new offers on the Autobrite sales today. Anyone else been following?

Managed to pick up the 5L shampoo deal and also got a set of the AD polishing pads to try.

Received the AD pads as purchased in the Xmas sale. Very nice construction on these.

Still to try them on the car - but i must say i'm impressed with the quality.

The 3 compounds are well designed with soft, medium and hard.

Not sure when i'll get to try them out but for £5 - i'm impressed.

   now that's impressive  B)

Not all for me mind you!!!!

I have a nice little group of mates locally who all chip in for the offers and deals.

Great to do combined postage and get the benefits of scale, especially in the sales.

Based on the above purchase - i can refill my 500ml Tar remover for £1.50; fallout remover £2, etc.

hehehe - with the savings made on this little lot.... sharing with the guys near me; detailing is cheap.... no brainer!

The bizarre thing this year - quite a few guys have got white cars..... and Tar remover was the product in most demand.  :giggle:

Normally fallout remover is a clear winner!

Bought from Costco a full set x (4) of Michelin car rubber mats, very good quality @ £17.99 + vat

http://video.costco.com/v/1449824755/michelin-heavy-duty-floor-mat-set-4piece-hardware-auto/

These still sell on amazon & Ebay from as little as £22.99 to as much as £38.99

very hard wearing rubber mats, might be ideal for this type of weather season to keep your carpet interior in good condition, & as a safety point of view, I have these rubber mats placed on top of my carpet mats so that way, my carpet mats never get ruined or dirty as quick.

Just ordered a couple of these for the winter months. Very cheap on eBay.

Seemingly really good for the money and ideal for lower sills/skirts and alloys, etc.

Awesome - thanks mate.... glad you grabbed some too!

Some good bargains there too.... i'll have a look.

Seemingly they wash really well in the machine;

and go a long way to saving the Dooka or Adam's pad for summer

Looking forward to trying both my new waxes out and see how they compare to each other but god knows when that will be has I'm struggling to get pics off my phone and of course this time of year makes it hard work to wax anything lol

What's fo show like to work with as I've got various gloss enhancing/montan spray products but seem to struggle with all of them

Fo'Show is Ace Mark! I've tried and tested many ways and it's impressive.

2/3 sprays per panel, more on larger panels, spread out & buff off with easy. As above, not as smooth as some QD'S but it's essentially a spray wax anyway.

I have gone to the trouble of over applying it on purpose too, to see how it acts and it can streak if over applied.

Other than that, gloss levels & beading is awesome!

Thanks for sharing the user tips on that Karl - nice one.

I'm just annoyed that Halfords seem to have dropped it from the Waxaddict range they stock.

As it had been on the 3 for 2 offers earlier in 2016 and was a real bargain!!!
