The Spring Action Day is a little earlier this year, so I am attempting to sort out a little quicker than usual.

 

The format is the same as always - Two mid morning track sessions.  You must follow the usual trackday laws - Car must pass a sound test 100db (and scrutineering if they deem fit) - you must attend one of the regular briefings - you must have covered limbs on track - you must have a helmet (can be hired from the circuit)  Passengers can also be taken around.  Fiver paid to the circuit (not me) on the day and a separate briefing (very brief...) attended.  Same rules ref limbs and helmet too.

 

The cost is £53 all-in and due to it being fairly soon I am asking for payment in full.  However I will reserve spaces on the basis of payment by 31st Jan.  No payment means off the list.  Message me for any arrangements you may wish to make in regards to this.  You can add on passenger entry only tickets for people in your car for £12 each (cheaper than £15 on the gate)

 

Obviously being a Skoda club I am keen for skodas to come on track, especially those who have never tried it before and wish to do so in their potentially totally standard Skodas in the company of fellow club members rather than randoms.  However, I am making this a bring what you want day, so if you wish to bring a non Skoda, then that is no problem.  As long as you are a Briskoda member.

 

I am sorting out entry for clubstand only / show goers in a separate forum - the Shows section.  For now I am merely sorting out the track element which gets the driver alone and his/her car into the show and on to the clubstand, and the two mid morning track sessions.   

 

There are 28 spots to go and once gone, are gone (subject to people selling on their own time if they cannot make it) - Message me to get booked on or enquire.

 

The list has already started too.  I will most likely jump on at the end, but that rests on my car making it through a trackday 1st Feb.  It may well need full rebuild and I will show up in my Doblo van...

Why not just go on the list mate?

 

Obviously being a Skoda club I am keen for skodas to come on track, especially those who have never tried it before and wish to do so in their potentially totally standard Skodas in the company of fellow club members rather than randoms.  However, I am making this a bring what you want day, so if you wish to bring a non Skoda, then that is no problem.  As long as you are a Briskoda member.

How long are each session and what time will the last one finish?

30 mins tops I believe and 45 minute break in between, think last time we were done by 2pm?

Usually its first session around10.30/10.45 and the next one starts about 45 mins to an hour after - allowing enough cool down for cars and drivers

 

Each session is 15 minutes. subject to people not going off and stopping the session.

 

So all should be done and dusted by midday basically, possibly earlier.  I've not been given session times yet.

Jase, you have changed your tune since the original email! Thank god! I thought I was going to miss out  (thanks Richard for pointing this out!) I have sent you funds to your normal account for track time and one additional entrance ticket. My details are the same apart from now having the R32 instead of the fab.

 

If some of you that are reading this and are tempted, but haven't been on track before and have always wanted to have a go, this is the perfect way to try it! The Brisky organised sessions are always well behaved and a great introduction to track sessions/days. Its how I started, along with a lot of the other regular trackdayers off here, and now I'm completely hooked! I cant recommend this enough.
