There is always clubstand only this year so you can see how it works before thinking about spring 2016.

Then take it nice and steady, if they start perishing then ease off. This is what I did when my oil temp shot up, figured I'd much rather have an engine and turbo to drive it back with.

IMHO you'll not find a more comfortable environment I'm which to try your car on track.

My first ever track session was one of these organised by Jason in circa 2008. A group of likeminded enthusiasts who have a mutual respect for those who share the track on a Briskoda session.

Much less hazardous than one of the mixes sessions that are very much 'every man for themselves' and where ego's appear to rule the roost.

I would need to do research on brakes and oil temp etc so I would know when to cool off so I might be tempted to go on track. I have a standard octavia vrs estate

Took mine out for the first time ever last week and so glad I did! I'm still smiling now!!

why? I took out my Mk I Fabia 1.9 TDi last year and had great fun! Too much in fact There's CitiGo's and other Standard stuff on track and we all respect the fact we aren't equal (power/ car wise)

As mentioned, you won't find a better opportunity to go on track in a safe and courteous environment.

yeah, but mine's not a vRS either. It's a normal Fabia Elegance with some lowered springs and 100 BHP (ish)
