Castle Combe Action Day 02/04/2016 - Track Time + Show

I'm looking for passenger rides this time around, I would like to go out in the furby II vRS with you FurbyTom! I'd also like to out with someone in a mark I octy vRS maybe hardcorehobbit?! and of course richard

No problem! Fingers crossed though I'll be in the vRS. If Mrs Furbytom can't make it and decides she needs to use the Fabia I might have no option but to turn up in the JCW lol. Should be fine though :-)

Will do ;-). We've only had it 5 minutes tho so she's still "in training" on how to use it. Should be safe enough to leave it in her hands by April lol

Once upon a time many moons ago haha. The JCW is an auto though so shouldn't be a problem. :-)

too old for the track ... and an unknown quantity (and on rainsport tyres!) but if I get some confidence in it by then, I could look for someone who sells a track spot on the day , there is usually one or two.... not booking in advance without knowing the car though...

Really trying where possible to keep it skoda only unless regulars before have sold up and moved on but are still keen.

 

Seems Brands Hatch has had the drug effect and one person on clubstand is now bringing an extra car and going to do the track sessions

Evening all. I will also be doing some additional session in the Golf this time as well as the Brisky sessions if anyone else fancies doing some more. 

 

The additional times I am doing are: 

- 9am 

- 9:45am

- 10:45am (Brisky)

- 11:45 (Brisky)

-1pm 

 

I know Richard may also be joining me in some if not all of these sessions also. If anyone else fancies joining me please do.

It is tempting to book extra slots, but having seen Richard's videos from last year I'd be worried about being on track with some complete numpties... Don't really care about damaging the car but I'd be more annoyed if it were damaged due to someone else stupidity :(

Every year it's the same.

The earlier slots are fine, the later slots get chaotic. (and possibly the drivers have more time for a beer or spliff)

I only post up the crazy slots and they are always the ones after the Brisky ones!
