i have skoda octavia 1.9 tdi and i was facing with issues water coming in accelerator pedal, so i was resolving the issue and found the upper wiring seal in bulkhead was leak and fixed it and now the car is not starting and no EML and no Glow plug light , i ve scaned it but it shows no communications with ECM OR ECU . I Found water in relays under the steering wheels.

plz help i need the car my Asap.

There is no eml on the 1.9 TDI it uses the glow plug light as it. The ecu is under the scuttle panel next to the wiper motor/linkage. I think it 109 relay that's prone to failing? Best thing is try to get a fan heater in the footwell to try and dry it all out and go from there.

i dont have any 109 relay on relay panel but i have 103 for diesel pump, is that what you are talking about ?

Yeah could be 109 I think is vRS.

Guys car is still dead ......... Plz help relay 103 is working as i can hear click noise from it when i turn on the key .........but there is no pwer to ECM and no glow plug light and no CEL light on cluster ...... It cranks but wont start ... I ve already tried to scan it but cant connect to ECM as it says no response from the controller . Plz help guys i have to commute to office by foot in very cold .i need my car alive.

Still no start !!!! I ve check the relay on another skoda octy it works fine but problem still on my octy ..... Anyone its like i am begging here for help .

It sounds like the ecu is the fault if there is no comms between it and vcds. If it is that it will need either repairing or replacing. If being replaced, it will have to be coded in as immobiliser will be active, unless you can find one with immobiliser deleted.

Have you put in a third party radio recently to replace the Skoda radio. The obd port from the ECU can be damaged if the radio supplies 12V on the obd lines. Was a common problem on early models and you can search on here for a fix if you have changed the radio.
