Changing to Variable Service Interval with VCDS

Featured Replies

Whilst trying to access the battry voltage (which I recall is through the trip button on the dash), I inadvertently reset the oil service. Having only looked at this morning (new car, delivered Friday), I know it was set to variable as it stated 18400 miles or 721 days.

As I've now reset it, it's reverted to 10000 miles and 365 days. I have VCDS - how do I set this back to variable servicing?

Thanks!

Gizmo,

Thanks, but that only shows me how to reset the interval entirely - not only the oil service. The inspection service is showing fine (19300 miles or 716 days), but the oil service should be showing similar mileage (expected to be slightly lower as it reads oil quality and driving style), but it currently shows 9200 miles or 362 days. I want to adjust the oil service back to ~18500 miles or 716 days, as it said before I stupidly pressed the button :S

Any other help?

I think that is because the intervals are actually in km, and the default fixed service interval is 15000km which is actually 9320.5679 miles. The program in the car displays that as 9400.
