I sacked them off after £14 a year to use tapatalk. Then briskoda sacked that off. Now just upload onto briskoda, its a ballach but its free. 

That sucks mate, flicker is another option! I use lightroom connected directly to it, makes life easy.

Still having to copy all the old images off Photobucket as I refuse to pay £300 per year for hosting. They can chew my stump.

 

Stole one of Coskev's kitcar ideas, and bought a load of nut covers, you'll see why in the pics

Bit more progress the last couple of nights. Last night I fitted the PSB poly rear beam bushes, in itself an easy enough job just tricky to get them started and once they're in, hammer them home quickly!

 

Decided to have a go at fitting the rear beam tonight, in hindsight it's a two man job but being a stubborn sod I got it done. 

 

Rear dampers fitted along with springs and spring height adjusters. The adjusters sit on top of the Bilstein springs which is a bit different to others I believe?

 

Jabba RARB is fitted but cable tied in place for now... rear brake hoses will be fitted Friday evening then a spanner check of all the back end

 

 

 

 

 

Getting there slowly... now then, where's the radox and a hot bath 

I was confused fitting the coilovers adjusters for a second when I done mine.

all the others I've done go on the bottom, only set I've fitted with the adjuster on the top.

Same here, I was fuming thinking they'd sent the wrong bits in the kit. Stood back and thought a while, over a cuppa and it dawned on me lol

Looks good. Even the big blue ribbed dildo you have fitted. 

Wow, I have a couple of months away from the forum and come back to pages of updates. Your progress is amazing, you have spurred me on to get cracking with mine, got some kw coilovers waiting in the wings, just need 312mm brakes and new bushes.  What bushes have you used to replace the originals?

Cheers, the front console bushes have been changed for poly PSB ones, used them loads before with no problems

Cracking nights progress tonight. Got both rear brake hard lines in, rear beam bolts tightened up, then set about the front end.

 

Front subframe complete with Eibach 22mm FARB fitted, steering rack refitted, front suspension legs and hubs fitted, driveshafts fitted and new hard hydraulic clutch pipe installed. 

 

Couple of quick pics.. front spring height needs setting and a light clean to get rid of finger marks etc

 

 

 

 

 

Loads more to do but for once there's less car parts in the house than there has been for months lol

 

 

Fitted new rear stub axles, wheel bearings/flanges and ABS sensors, torqued up to the correct 70nm then 30 degrees. 30mm multi point socket to fit on the nut

 

 

Not a huge amount gone on with the daffodil, waiting for odd bits to turn up and family stuff has been taking priority.

 

Dogbone mount was stripped and painted steel grey crackle to match the steering rack etc..

 

 

Bush wise (fnar fnar) I've gone for the Powerflex red version

 

 

 

 

So, this has been collected... 310 mile round road trip.

 

 

A kind fellow Fabia vRS owner had purchased a full Darkside front mount intercooler kit, with hard pipes and brackets but never fitted it. Needless to say it was a substantial saving over a fresh new one so I went to collect Sunday evening.

 

Also ordered a shorter but legal pressed plate for the rear of both Fabia's 

 

 

Other news is the Porsche Cayenne turbo calipers are away being powder coated, hopefully they'll be back soon and I can then get all the braking systems built back up and bled, then get the wheels back on it for the first time in months and months

Calipers have been collected. RAL 6029 mint green in a semi gloss finish, as close to the exact finish the factory calipers are done in.

 

 

Its as big as my thigh lol...

Friday night will see the new pistons and seals going in, along with new bleed nipples and link pipes

Spent a leisurely evening assembling the calipers. I had bought a complete set of new pistons, seals and dust seals, along with new bleed nipples and dust covers. The calipers are handed left and right and the pistons are sized differently, with the smaller pistons at the top then getting progressively larger to the bottom. Took my time and used plenty of red rubber grease. 

 

 

 

 

Stuck on the obligatory Porsche decal as well. 

 

The link pipes are next to go on once they have been painted. Been a long time since I've rebuilt a caliper- quite enjoyed it lol

They look like monsters!

Definitley have no issue in the braking department.
