And LimeWire is a even better one, for the most part anyway...

Yep, no problem, was just expecting a free 'lite' version of the codecs on their site!

Off to search... :D

Steve

It works,......so i've heard

Thanks - I used TorrentReactor myself ;)

Dont forget...I KNOW your dodgy

In car footage from the Fabia

http://www.philgooch.com/video/incar.wmv

That's not too bad, it looked like a proper beating from the other clips I saw...:)

Admittedly, it didn't do so well 100+mph but I put that down to the cars brick shaped aerodynamics...

I'm sure I could get a better start than that in mine, I think the fabia driver was being a bit too kind to his clutch, unlike Bengie... Great launches, 4x4 or not!

fabia - AMD one click' date=' panel filter, PD160 intake

camera car(phil's) - FWD elegance 150 with jabba custom map

white estate - jabba map, blue flame turbo back system, fmic, boost controller, cai, samco tip, KW V2, brembo 323mm front brakes, uprated clutch, uprated flywheel +a poorly turbo and maf :([/quote']

Fabia - AMD one click, PD160 Intake, 312mm front brakes

Not a great deal of time to practise the starts due to "technical difficulties" with the One Click and a not so short phone call to AmD.

I simply don't know what you mean!

Steve

sympathy my a$$, give it full beans or dont bother. 5,000rpm launch you say?

ColinD,

When was that video 'chepstow' taken? Didn't know the have short stages there?

Or is it part of the Wyedean Rally?

Chepstow was a part of an RPM tour...we did a few when they started, but we've not been back since that day...

Smooth tarmac events cost a fw grand all in for the modern cars who were running low and quick...I've got a video I can still feel my teeth watching....60= onto a 2" partly covered kerb...Paul hit it even quicker, bent his split rims and suspension.

We were told it was the first motorsport event on that site...

@Bengie, watch your rear diff Bengie, I'd been doing a fair few 4k dumps and it blew up a few weeks later.

On standard brakes it was lots of braking that was the problem for rather than from high speed' date=' e.g. straight NSL dual carriage way with lots of roundabouts on it.

No such problems though with Brembos, DS2500 pads and super DOT4.

As Colin says though what Bengie describes doesn't sound like fade.[/quote']

You can get pad fade as well as fluid fade. In the case of pad fade the pedal goes rock hard but there seems to be very little retardation.

Ah, the RPM tours :D

Wonder if Ian has forgiven Des for trying to drive off the top of Prescott?

Had some good stage ones, but we had to pull them due to MOD complaints :(

Anyone got an idea of how much it would cost to hire the straight at Brunters?

probably more than elvington.......

Alternativly we could attend an open RWYB day at Santa Pod

EDIT: Email sent to Bruntingthorpe ;)

DJ Format playing

PMSL  I like the laid backness  Oh and all hail Bengies comeback :D

um-may i ask the weight of the drivers?

Johnny5 is larger than average, bengie is a bit larger than average and goochie is as thin as a very thin twig. So there would have been unfair advantages.

(no offence meant to anyone)

I would class that as bullying. Dont take it guys... :o;)

Even if there was 20kg between the heaviest and lightest thats only the rough equivelent of 4bhp (they say 5kg = 1bhp). Perhaps we should have swapped cars ;) ?

Perhaps we should have swapped cars ;) ?

Can't see you driving the Fabia though, Phil - what would it do to your reputation ;)

Chris

reputation?
