Hi Guys,

So as some of you may know, last year Lee organised a rolling road day at JKM Portsmouth on the 31st of October. It had very good take up and a lot of people turned out. I was hoping to organise something again for this year as my car has come along a fair bit since last time and its a good excuse for a get together.

Kate has now confirmed the date of the 29th of October. Seeing as it's the same day as last year I'm hoping this will be okay for the majority of you.

The day will start at 9:00am with the gates open at 8.45am

Minimum of 10 cars - Maximum of around 30 cars.

£35 for 3 back to back runs - cash preferred on the day to speed payments up.

Front Wheel Drive cars preferred on the day though if we have sufficient demand we can turn the dyno around for rear wheel drive cars.

No Vans, expect VW Caddy size, No 4 wheel drive cars or Haldex 4 wheel drive.

The dyno has a small ramp which leads up to it. Any cars which are very low will not get on the dyno. Please check with us first if you are unsure.

All runners will receive a colour print out of the best run.

Free Tea/coffee/Biscuits will provided all day

I have had to pay a £50 deposit to JKM to secure the date so we need atleast 10 cars to turn up before they will go ahead so if you do put your name on the list please try and come and if you won't be able to make it please let me know so I can offer the space to someone else

    David, you should get some Vauxhall Limited Edition Wing badges to compliment the vRS badge. At least you won't be completely taking the ****.

    Just had a chat with Kate at JKM and they can't do sundays at all sadly Tony so a Saturday its got to be. Kate has got to talk to Jim first and she is going to get back to me but said it shouldn't be too much of an issue :)

     

    I should have a confirmed date and price soon hopefully.

    Unfortunately I am undecided what I am doing with the mongrel at the moment to commit to this.  Its going to the Ring and back and then funds permitting might be dumping it on Derv-tech over the winter for them to work some magic and refresh the engine.

    Possibly interest subject to date etc.

    Good, this gives me approximately three months to fix my oil leak, find out what pipe work is rattling against the downpipe and get the first lambda senor repositioned.
