Due to extreme rain down here (that goes UP your trousers) a Karrimor gore-tex is essential wet weather attire! Also gore-tex trousers are essential too, making sure they go OVER your boots, else it's wet trousers time (and I'm not talkin' about the type you get when you aqua-plane at 100MPH+ on the motorway) I think I've just finished paying off the loan I needed to buy both a few years ago.

buy taller boots jason :D

Use Wendys car more, saves getting mine dirty

 - You've been scarred?! - I don't think wearing a pair of f*** me boots would really suit me, know what I mean!? Nothing higher than hiking boots for me, ta.

Oh, apart from the odd time I wear the wellies - and I don't want any friggin sheep comments, OK? :D:rolleyes:

Dont worry m8, I fully sympathise with your predicament...living in the Wet Country.

 - I meant that as an expletive, not a verb... Reading back over that I can see a whole lot of comments are going to be coming my way. [ducks]

I think I'm going to go offline now, and won't come back until the morning. :D

I think you were asking for trouble with that wellies and sheep remark Jason! :p

Winter kit == summer kit...

- standard Skoda kit (spare wheel, tools)

- warning triangle

- spare bulbs/fuses

- spider

- tyre pressure gauge

- tyre pump

- ratchet handle with assorted screwdriver blades & sockets

- two spare coil packs

- two torches

- dayglo/reflective waistcoat

- 6' X 4' polypropylene tarpaulin.

- travel rug

- hand cleaner

- fire extinguisher (1 kg dry powder - just a token gesture)

And of course the anorak ...

I'm afraid my winter kit is the same as my summer kit as well :

20 Lambert & Butler

Road Map

Several boxes of Smint's

Sunglasses ( which I forgot to take on holiday , because they were still in the car )

Come on Geoff , I'm not THAT bad ..............besides I haven't got a fridge in the car ( unlike some ) , and there's nothing worse than warm Stella :D

Ahhh yes, but if you break down in a snowdrift, you can just lob a few cans out of the window and retrieve them when cold

You've got an answer for everything ! .......................good idea though .

Phillistine....

Becks is truely the God of all beers...(which is why 1 whole fridge door shelf is dedicated to holding it which is about 14/16 bottles, all of which are nice and cold)
