New emblem on my 2009 superb

Featured Replies

Hello ladies and gentlemen.

Just wondering, Im planning om changing to the new style of emblem on my 2009. Has anybody done that? are the front and rear emblem the same diameter? how do I get them off?

I just replaced the front and rear badges on my 2013 Superb and it was quite easy. I measured the size of the badges and then ordered a black carbon finish from eBay and they fitted very nicely if you followed the instructions.I prised the old badges off using a plastic trim tool(anything strong and plastic -not too thick should do) It was like peeling off a well stuck down piece of tin foil. I cleaned the black plastic mount up and stuck the new badges on.Very quick, easy and satisfying job.

Easy to do....use a hairdryer to heat the goo behind and they peel off quite easily. There are 'curved' emblems and flat ones. Get the flat ones....

A few threads on here (as highlighted by Del8oy above) to help out.

I’m replacing the badges on my 2011 superb estate. Ordered two 90mm new style badges now and both curved (one was a copy one original). Anyone know where you can buy the straight ones? Cheers Dom

Ordered mine on a Monday evening, delivered Thursday from Czech Republic.

Many thanks, will get them ordered 👍😁

hi there, after reading several posts on this matter and carefully considering all the helpful information several people have given, i went ahead and ordered the parts that had been recommended by several members, part number 1st 853 601 A AUL front and rear badges for a superb, i ordered these from skoda parts.com, members advised that they were from a citigo model but apparently fitted a superb. They arrived today and low and behold they are curved not flat so won't fit my 2013 superb, so be very cautious

I ordered the ST 853 630 AAUL citigo rear badge. It’s due on Tuesday.

its none returnable so hope it’s flat and not curved!

Nice one, let me know how you get on with them, i'm gutted, just wasted 30 euros , just goes to show don't always take the information on forums to be correct, the fact that my superb is also an estate, i can't see that making any difference, so many threads recommended the part number so i went with it, good luck

I have the estate.  I emailed skoda-parts before I ordered and asked them for a link for the correct part on their site, the one I posted above is the one I used and they are flat.

Thanks for that StuH78, i have also emailed skoda parts.com to see if they will confirm these badges will fit a 2013 superb estate greenline, awaiting reply....wonder if they do exchanges lol

I’m picking up my badge tmw, so will let u know if that fits. It was £13.20 from Skoda dealership. I have a 2011 greenline estate

hi Dom1982c, thanks for the info, yeah that would be great if you could let me know:)

The code Dom1982c posted is the one I got and fits perfect - one word of warning though, you literally have one shot at it coz the adhesive is nuclear stickiness.  My front is okay, my back, least said the better 😵

Hi StuH78, did you go to a skoda dealership for them?, also did you get both the front and rear logos from the same place, if you did purchase 2 logos/emblems are they the same skoda part number? cheers

Bob, from what I have read, the only flat new design 90mm Skoda badge available is the Citigo boot badge 1ST 853 630 AAUL. I believe the front badge for the citigo is curved. I’m still waiting for the dealership to call me to let me know the badge has arrived, guess it will come tmw now 😤

Also, the same citigo boot badge is used on the boot and bonnet on our superb mk2’s

Both came from skoda-parts, the link I posted above.  They are the same part number.  Here is a photo of the back:

cheers dom1982c, ive just been doing some more research on the internet and apparently some sellers that are selling part number 1ST 853 630 AAUL are stating that there is a slight curve to said badge.....to say i'm confused is an understatement lol, i suppose the only way is to order one and place it on a flat surface and see if it rocks from side to side lol, just didnt want to waste my money yet again and get a badge thats not compatible lol, thanks for getting back to me

You will be doing the wheel centre caps and a genuine airbag cover next 👍
