Mk1 Fabia Vrs Issues I'm Having.

Featured Replies

Hi,

Never really used this page, but thought I would give it a try.

Currently im sat on 40mm springs so as you can imagine the ride is harsh, but recently the left hand side knocks and squeaks when going over bumps or uneven roads, sometimes it can be quite a loud bang.

My thoughts are its either a top mount or a bush, would any of these actually knock and before i get them done is there a way to test them?

Also, my bumper is in decent condition but where it attaches to the front of the car (inside the headlights), the brackets there are fairly tatty, can they be changed or is it a case of a new bumper? Its red if there are any for sale!

Cheers in advance.

Good chance if you have standard length shock absorbers the -40mm ride height will have knackered the shocks

The bumpers are all one piece.

Did you fit the shorter arb links ?

puddy :)

I second Puddy's comment. If you're on standard droplinks it could be catching.

...it could be catching.

Sounds nasty, hope I don't catch it.  :sun:
