So after a few days and 130 miles I am really liking the Bus, I went from an auto Mini Cooper S to a VRS Estate it literally feels massive.

My first issue however arose at the weekend, My taste in music is quite varied and for most styles the stereo is adequate and the speakers are OK Better than the mini by a long shot.

I did try and pop the volume up a little when the wife wasnt in the car only to find that it certainly doenst like volume plus bass it simply cant handle it without blowing and distorting.

My fix take a trip down to RAM mobile wakefield and for my go at messing with the skoda a custom build for the rear quarters sub and amp is seperate sides as to not impact on the load bed. Install date 15/02/17.

It is not the first Install they have done on an estate Octavia was his first install anyone on here?

 

please post some pics when you get it installed! very interested in putting a system in mine and want some inspiration!

Mine was done at Source Sounds, Sheffield. Bit One (under the amps), Sub and Amps under the boot floor, Rainbow Germaniums up front, and with a choice of either using the stock headunit, or direct input from my MP3 player.

Mine will be In the spaces in the rear quarter behind wheel wells amp on the left and sub in the right. Mine has the spare wheel and changing kit in that space

I only had the changing kit in that space and the couple of storage bays, so wasn't a real loss to put all the kit in there.

so car in for the upgrade JL Audio MX series slimline monoblock amp and Tw1-10 sub I cant believe I am more excited about this than the actual car, also asked for a Blackvue dashcam fitting while they had the guts out still not sure on final price should have pics by tomorrow.

Can't upload anymore at the minute will add some more pics later amp is hidden under the left side storage panel. Our sounds great just adds the missing low down grunt the Std and canton miss. Using Std front speakers too.I am no audiophile but it sounds really good and isn't embarrassing outside of the car. Also had a blackvue dash cam fitted. Excellent service from rammobile would certainly recommend. They have 0% finance for the expensive builds. Can build a system to suit most budgets.
