thanks! looks lowered too? I'm trying to sort my 230 out how I want it because it depresses me a bit, the stance is just rubbish and also having no CD player is annoying so trying to sort that out too.. mines a red combi too :)

Nope not lowered, I haven't put a CD in the car for years, just whack everything on a USB stick :)

SWMBO has just taken delivery of 1.6 TDI SE L Estate, took the Rearguards carbon effect rear bumper protector off her 64 plate Black Edition estate and thought I had nothing better to do than make it a straight swap, but NO, it won't fit, won't reach under the tailgate seal. Contacted supplying dealer who stated Skoda didn't list a up to date item for the current vehicle. Contacted Rearguards who informed me the bumper size was changed in March of this year and that they will have a rear bumper protector to fit the current model ready in approx two months, they have nothing in the pipeline planned for the current VRS model.

daft question, but can these be removed in the future should you so wish?

About seven years ago I contacted Rearguards about removal when considering for my MK2. I was told they thought paint damage was likely. I ended up with a strip of  3M Ventureshield film which has been so so in that it doesn't cover enough really.

I had a rearguard on my MkII vRS.

I found it was catching the boot lid on the right hand side when opening and closing the boot.

I took it off carefully after about 6 months with no paint damage.

Been contacted by Rearguards stating that they now have the rear bumper protector for Octavia's built from March 2017 onwards, there is still no VRS model available.
