Kopacek After Sales Service Non existent

Featured Replies

I purchased a Superb II Combi Stainless Steel rear bumper protective panel in September 2016.  Within a couple of weeks the edges were showing signs of rust so out came the Autosol.  Despite living in an area where the roads haven't been salted this winter the problem just got worse.

I emailed Kopacek Tuning (and used Google Translate to copy the text into Czech) and asked for their comment but there was no reply.  I emailed again on 1 March 2017 but there has been no response.

I can only suggest that Briskoda members avoid this company.

Hmmmm.....if it's genuine stainless it should not corrode.....or at least not as quickly as that! Try calling them? They probably do speak English.....hopefully you get it sorted.....

If you can put a small magnet on it, if there is a "pull" then it is an iron material. I agree it does not look stainless more like a coated metal as those scratches should not rust.

I ended up getting a black plastic one for this reason. I was concerned about the quality of materials.

It doesn't look as good but should last longer. Shame they're so darn expensive for what they are

I have had one of those trims on my car for a few years and no discolouration whatsoever. I did have to get them to send a second one though as the first had a very sharp edge and it did take a few emails and a video of it cutting paper to sort it out.

I have bought a lot of items from them and am surprised you have had a problem, perhaps they are busy at the moment?

Pay by PayPal and when they ignore you start a dispute.

They are an awful company when things go wrong.

Avoid unless a last resort for a part.

I also have the same one which was bought last May and that too has started to corrode around the edge.

At the price I paid of £35, which in reality is very expensive for what it is, I thought at least being made of stainless steel it would last for the life of the car.

I will also contact Kopacek about this matter and see if they respond.

Email sent. Let's see if they reply.
