Now I'm thinking of getting a mk1 Octavia vrs

Featured Replies

Just been looking for Octavia's and come across this very clean mk1 , the interior is in really good condition for its age , also the back looks bigger than the mk2 , can anybody confirm this are the rear seats wider and is there more leg room in the mk1 than the mk2.

Obviously I think the price is to high so would have to get them down .

What are the engines like in these are they good units?

What engine code are they ?

The seller has not half messed up the advert giving the details for a 2.0 diesel automatic.

Check out the steering rack as there was an advisory at the last MOT.

I'm not convinced on that I'm afraid. I paid a more for mine when I got it a couple years ago.

2.5k, 1 owner brand new, 65,000 miles on the clock. Never failed an MOT.
