It does seem to be a bit of a lottery. Mine took 15 weeks, others on here have been waiting longer so expect the worst and you may be pleasantly surprised.

I'd settle for 15 weeks. I'll update with my progress here, too, so anyone else recently ordering can get an idea of the current turnaround.

Evening all. Just reading through this thread, having placed my order last Sunday. I don't even have a build week yet! Dare I even ask how long everyone thinks I'll be waiting? :)

Richard

Hi Richard.  Welcome to the madhouse!

You may get a better idea around 5 or 6 weeks in.  Sometimes the build week moves around quite a bit and so, can be unreliable and get your hopes up unnecessarily.  Your car goes to status 20 (build locked) 2 weeks before build and this is the only guaranteed date.  From there it seems to be 2 to 3 weeks to collect the car.

I've seen times on here for order to collection from 10 weeks up to 23.  Most retail customers seem to be at the lower end of the scale, probably 14 to 15 weeks in total.  Hope this helps.

No arguments from me there , even though some don't quite get the right colour :giggle:

Collecting tomorrow 11 weeks from order to collection.

Not bad from what I have seen on here.

13 weeks and currently waiting a ship from Emden to Sheerness. Trouble is no RoRo carriers in Emden at the mo although the Makassar Highway is on the way and should arrive tomorrow - here I go again getting my hopes up on very flimsy evidence.

Skoda Live Chat tell me it is 7 to 10 days from Emden to  Sheerness - most of the ships I'm tracking do it in less than 12 hours.

Yes.  That's the best colour and the fastest :D

 Race Blue is of course the only colour for the serious Octavia owner.

Yours must be coming by raft then :giggle:

The way I see it the Red owners are shouting look at me how good I am.

Us Race Bluers don't have to do this because we assume that everybody knows.

Judges' scorecards averaged 9.7 for that one.  We probably need to put our hard hats on now.  Incoming...

All I can hear is jealous people... But I guess that's to be expected. ;)
