Amundsen+ Radio Display Help!

Featured Replies

Had my 2013 Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Tech for nearly 2 years with no issues with the Amundsen+ radio at all, then the other morning when started the car as normal the radio just had no display and when turned the lights on none of the buttons around the radio would light up like usual. At first just assumed it was turned off but wasn't, and wouldn't reset when holding the power button. Everything on the radio works, touch screen, bluetooth, sat nav, radio and on the maxi dot. At first thought the screen was just black but its actually working but is just so dark that its not visible unless you shine a light on it, but not enough to actually be able to use it at all. Tried different resets, checked fuses etc but no luck. Can anyone offer any ideas/help because its really starting to irritate me!

Yeah all the dash works fine

Loose connection at the back?

It's possible that the screen pcb or the connection to it has failed inside the unit. I'm not certain of any faults on the Amundsen + units really, but that could be a possibility
