Yup I've definitely exported it correctly - unfortunately I can only go with the database that's shared and it's from the exact same sharer and exact same database source. I even downloaded it twice because I myself even noticed that it contained a couple of files less than previous source downloads but it's out of my control.

Latest Updated Speedcams - January, 2026.

 

Here goes - my first upload for this year. Once again here's the latest update of my customised version of EUR Speedcams ( January, 2026 ). They consist of the full EUROPE speed cameras which I've split up into four consolidated poi categories i.e. Redlight Speedcams, Fixed Speedcams , Average Speedcams ( which also include European tunnel speedcams ) and Variable Speedcams. They come supplied with my own preferred personal choice of icons, shown below, to match each of the speedcam categories. Remember to Install them as I explained in the first post in this thread i.e. after extracting the zip file remember to open the newly extracted folder and place only the PersonalPOI folder and metainfo2.txt file onto your sd card ( Please Note: a usb stick will not work! ). Also, please remember to select/tick the relevant newly added poi categories and the poi audible warning alert in your infotainment map menu settings after performing the update or they will not display on your map or audibly alert you. Hope you all enjoy them!

I'm sorry but I have no experience of the Skoda Karoq but from your picture I would say no. These files are for MIB2 units only. They will only work on the Skoda Amundsen and Columbus MIB2 versions as well as the equivalent VW Discover Media and Discover Pro versions.

Ok - I've just downloaded them to check them out and there is nothing wrong with them. The file contents and the file structures are all correct. I see from your profile that you have a 2016 car so it's possible that you may have a MIB1 device and if that's the case then I'm sorry as these files won't work for you.

I found out why we have problems detecting or loading Speed Cam POI points:

1. The USB media or SD-CARD is not prepared correctly. In my experience and also in the official instructions it is written that it must be a FAT32 partition and 4096 cluster size and must NOT contain any BOOT records!!

2. The problem with an unrecognized database is that the created database does not support the device in your vehicle. The file "metainfo2.txt" contains 5-digit codes that describe device support or Firmware version support. In the case of an unsupported code, the database will not be recognized or installed.

I also found another POI database SpeedCam which supports many more vehicles, but I don't know if bigade1 agrees with the post.

I used AI to help capture the data, so there may be some errors!
