Latest Updated Speedcams - December, 2023.

It's been a long wait this time - a whole year! - but at last here's the latest update of my customised version of EUR Speedcams ( December, 2023). They consist of the full EUROPE speed cameras which I've split up into four consolidated poi categories i.e. Fixed Speedcams, Average Speedcams, Variable Speedcams and Redlight Speedcams. They come supplied with my own preferred personal choice of icons, shown below, to match each of the speedcam categories. Remember to Install them as I explained in the first post in this thread i.e. after extracting the zip file remember to open the newly extracted folder and place only the PersonalPOI folder and metainfo2.txt file onto your sd card ( Please Note: a usb stick will not work! ). Also, please remember to select/tick the relevant newly added poi categories and the poi audible warning alert in your infotainment map menu settings after performing the update or they will not display on your map or audibly alert you. Hope you all enjoy them!

I tried to just get this to work on my Audi A4 B9 (sorry I know this is a Skoda forum, but this is the most comprehensive Speed Camera list :) ), but it did not recognise the files. I have "MHI2_ER_AUG22_K2161_MU1421". Is there something different I need to do, a different procedure?

It looks like your unit is a Harman unit so unfortunately these files will not work with your unit.

Hello Community,

is there a possibility to see an pc where are the speedcams are or can it be only shown on the navi in the car?

I have an audi a3 8v with firmware MHI2_ER_AU37x_P4159. So i couldn't use it? Is there another possibilty?

Best regards,

Zwusel

Can this work in MIB1 also?

Sorry it can't be done on a pc and no I'm afraid they won't work on your unit.

Sorry they will only work on MIB2 units and possibly some MIB2.5 units.

Many thanks.

D/L'd and installed.

Thanks bigade1 for your time and effort !  Once again, very much appreciated.

Thanks again bigade1 for all your hard work we all appreciate it.

Nice easy install, thanks @bigade1

Many thanks as ever my friend .. greatly appreciated !

The 370 update (HIGH2_P370_EU_202425) is available for my Kodiaq and I'm hesitating to update as I've heard on VW forums that you can't manually import POI anymore after the newest MIB2 update. Not sure if they are referring to the kind of map update I mention or only to firmware updates (is there even a difference?). I would appreciate it if somebody can confirm they were able to import these POIs with a head unit updated to the 2024/25 maps, thanks

Many thanks! Installing now. 👍
