The 370 update (HIGH2_P370_EU_202425) is available for my Kodiaq and I'm hesitating to update as I've heard on VW forums that you can't manually import POI anymore after the newest MIB2 update. Not sure if they are referring to the kind of map update I mention or only to firmware updates (is there even a difference?). I would appreciate it if somebody can confirm they were able to import these POIs with a head unit updated to the 2024/25 maps, thanks

Well I have a MIB2 in a 2017 Rapid and I updated to 2024/2025 maps and I just updated the Speed Cameras with the new download and it seems fine.

Nice one Bigade1 - many thanks once again, you're a proper star on this forum, really appreciate your efforts.🙌👏

Many Thanks Once Again !!

Any system that shows camera alerts in France is illegal, and the gendarmes have been known to take a very dim view if they find one on a random stop - large fine and confiscation of the equipment has been reported. So all camera databases have removed French data...

Yep... My late Brother in Law gone stung for €800 just outside Paris for this exact offence. They also have the right to impound your car, until you pay the fine if you get caught.

Not worth the risk.

Thanks to Bigade1 for this camera  update. 😊

Can I assume that these European cameras also cover the UK.... Or are they only for mainland Europe (ie predominently EEC countries) ?

My map is the latest smaller 7Gb UK/Europe version. I rarely drive abroad now.

2024/2025.

Thanks.

Since the UK is part of Europe then you can assume correctly sir! Hence why I now abbreviate them to EUR to avoid any confusion. This is instead of referring to them as EU which we have now departed from.

Thanks Bigade1

Much appreciated.

Hi, I know this is predominately a Skoda forum and deals with Bolero and Amundsen? But fundamentally all VAG group is the same system, right? Well, since I've not been finding any help over on VW forum, and @bigade1 here seems very well regarded, I just wanted to ask, what am I doing wrong, why is this not working for me in MIB2 Delphi P0891D? Is there a conflict with latest maps 2024/25 Full Europe? Or is there some other issue that someone can help me fix?

i have regularly updated my Octavia III since buying in 2016 without any hitch. I had to trade it in for a 24 plate Kodiaq (think its the 23 facelift)  fitted with an Amundsen (one with 2 knobs) but there are no SD card slots just USB type C by the charging bin. The car has an embedded SIM card with a membership valid until May 25. Ive put the down load on to a USB stick and with a USB converter plugged it into the type C ports. I don't seem to be able to install POI's as previously succesfully installed on my Octavia also with Amunsen.

Has anybody been successful as i have to revert to TomTom or Google maps via wireless Android Auto to receive warnings (which are comprehensive). Unlike the Octavia the maps on the new Kodiaq are quite good with seemingly no stupid routes and even a trailer option.

One negative point is the charging box (or cooking box). After a 2 hour trip with the phone in the box "charging" and using Android auto the phone cuts out with an over temperture alarm and almost no charge in the battery!!! Found it better to charge by cable in the 12v plug and use wireless android auto. Using wired AA in the USB-C does not keep up with the discharge so you can run out of charge.

For all that the car is fantastic.

In bigade1 speedcams package folder for Delphi units is missing  , you can try download speedcams from Vagspeedcam telegram group but it's saying  on MST2_EU_VW_P0883D and newer doesn't work .
