They look pretty good.  Never had them before, do they reduce the wind noise on the motorway?  I found it fairly noisy when I went out recently in the Karoq.

i havent noticed any noise difference .

Installed the vent covers, does finish that area of the car for very little cost. Also installed the boot mat from Amazon. Very easy to cut down, I've left the sides a little longer to offer a little side protection. Hopefully it flattens out but happy even if it doesn't.

Thanks to those for posting the ideas. Anymore handy upgrades do share.

Think next on my list will be door sill covers but haven't found any I like at the moment.

Fitted the OEM bootmat, the vent covers, and swapped out the carpet mats the dealer put in for the all weathers in the back.

Mudflaps en route from the Irish Skoda dealer. Sportline pedal covers next.

Not much choice yet in the door sill strips and no OEM rear bumper strip yet.

Technically my first mod was extra tints so next easy win were the vent covers.

Just about to go and fit mine too.

I’d better phone my insurance and tell them about the GTI modification :D

Well, it is a performance enhancement ;)

I was thinking of taking the plung and getting a bumper protector from Super Skoda

Only third party items so far. I'm surprised SS hasn't got hold of more OEM for the Karoq yet.

I do like my OEM stuff. Daft really, as some of the others could be reasonably described as better.

But as Popeye used to say, I yam what I yam.

  • 2 weeks later...

Spotted them the other day and thought they were bizarre.

Strange though how agonizingly slowly SS is getting more Karoq OEM stuff.

Clearly they use the same supplier as Skoda:D

I changed my rear bulbs to LEDs today and put some instructions together.

See the guide section if you want to do it.

Its quite easy and doesn't even need any tools.

Here's a pic of the new LED reverse lights.

They're not as dazzling as they look in the picture but they are bright.

Its pitch black as there are no street lights in my road and they are lighting up my neighbours car nicely.

First mod when she arrives will be the removal of the 'Skoda' and 'Karoq' lettering badges on the boot.

Personally I think it de-clutters and smartens up the rear of the car.

I'l post some pics once its done if anyone is interested.

I'd like to see its naked rear end.

I was thinking of doing it as well, then people will wonder what it is.

Be interested to see what that looks like.

I do prefer how Seat have the Ateca lettering centred and don't have 'Seat' written anywhere.

Now all I'm thinking of is anagrams to put centrally. Maybe DORK, ROAD KOQ or ARS ODOR :D
