    FINALLY.

  • You’re mostly correct, I just spoke with Skoda and it isn’t yet in the UK.   They did say that it’s not approved yet, but they have started shipping anyway in anticipation of approval.

  • I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.   Your first sentence reads to me that once the engine is WLTP approved, then that's the end of the process, it's ready for certification.

Ehmm... The 190hk diesel has also been approved. 2.0 tsi is the only engine left in the pricelist with a "wltp Star*" here in denmark.

Confirmed by a fellow user on a Facebook skoda community. His dealer has received the car today!

I've heard that there is cca 100kg difference between the 5 seats and 7seats one so maybe that's why.

Only 9 kilos in difference between 2.0 tdi 190hk 4x4 5vs7 seats...

But 7 seater can tow 300 kilos less

But what is Max weights / revenue weight for the  7 seater?

the 9kg kerb  / unladen weight difference is not of the greatest importance.

2352 5 seats - 2361 7 seats

Is the Gross Weight of the 7 seater not 2,510kg ?    That is the figure i have.

Totalweight (kg) 2362

Allowed roof weight 75kg. But i guess that is included in the Totalweight.

But I guess nothing is 100% certain yet.

^^^ Is that for a MY19 WLTP Approved car?

Sorry i had the weight with DSG.

It is with dsg. U can only get it with dsg in denmark.

Sorry i am not an expert regarding the diesels. Maybe they have not changed these specs after the wltp approval. But according to the pricelist, the 2.0 tdi 140kw with 4x4 and dsg has been approved.

I have the catalogue back at home... But im not home till tomorrow evening. Then i can see if the specs have changed.

The sad thing is that Skoda CZ that produce and deliver 1 million or more vehicles a year globally or did can not have a IT team that can post

at least weekly the Spec of MY19 models that are offered for sale or are awaiting WLTP.

Clear and easy to see by World Region Weights & Measures, C02 g/km & NoX etc,  WLTP & RDE.

Prices etc.

Obviously being part of the biggest car manufacturers in the world is the issue.

All the gear and not those with much of an idea or clarity and honesty.

Skoda Configurators and Websites are dire.

Well, im not sure that totalweight and the figure you are talking about are the same. But it is very bad, that no new specs have been published since i ordered mine in April....

Only the 110kw Kodiaq is approved as of today.

But all models/engine configs are now open for order.

Then explain why a danish customer was told by the dealer today, that they had received the 2.0 tdi 140kw 4x4 dsg? And why it is only 2.0 tsi that has a mark in the pricelist regarding wltp.

Error.

Kodiaq 2.0 TDI 190PS 4x4 DSG (Edition) - Gross vehicle weight:

5 seat - 2,352kg
7 seat  - 2,510kg

------------------------

so in this particular case the diff. in gross weight is 158kg.

although the source is 1 year old but I do not expect the weight difference will change mutch.

Not trying to argue, but do you have a source or is this a rumour? Could it be a stock car on hold that was already buildt prior to wltp and waiting to be sold?

Dont know what you mean about the 2.0 TSI - but the 1.5 is also waiting approval.

2.0 tsi is the only engine on the danish pricelist marked with a * = the only one which fuel consumption can change after wltp.

= the rest of the engines must have been tested.

And regarding the skoda community Facebook member, his car was build in week36.

Hello,

Can you specify the name of the facebook group please? My Kodiaq has the same engine and was built in week 35! Thank you for your reply.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I can not find this group on Facebook.

Strange. Geographical limitations on Facebook? It is a closed group, but has 3949 members. You should be able to apply for access? But you will be asked a couple of questions. I can take a screenshot on my phone if You like, but it is in danish = not easy to copy for translation.

I don't believe those two seats weighs more than max 50 kilos.

There is a bigger grossweight because there potentially can be 2 persons extra in the car. On the expense of some of its towing capability.

The kerb weight is the figure you should look at to find the weight difference with 2 extra seats.

1720 - 1677 kilos.

I assume that they dont wltp test the car with max gross weight?

No markings on any of the engines in the Norwegian pricelist.

Please let us know here when this individual gets his car, I guess its within 14 days or so as they have the car in Denmark. That means that the Adac list isn’t very accurate or up to date at least, which would surprise me a lot.

On the adac list they say something similar to: this list contains only cars that are available for orders. (must be the same as the manufacturer has put it online on pricelist etc) So naturally skoda knows it before the list is updated. I would expect them on the adac list next week.
