The M4 is quite strong too as this accident shows (note the size of the huge rock it spits down the road!)

Crikey, that's more than a bit forensic!!!   A couple of months ago my car was cased at 4 oclock in the morning, by a young scummer on a bike, riding up to my car and calling someone to disc

I've worked out where BMW have got their inspiration from, for the new M4 grill

Not very good at slowing down, going around a roundabout (poor handling) though it seems. Probably typical of the average M4 owner.😊

Brilliant at flying though and makes a passible earth mover. How heavy is that rock she punted down the road?! Incredible to think, nobody was seriously hurt

Didn't know It was a female stunt driver thanks for sharing it was very funny. Amazing how dangerous driving can be under the influence of alcohol or drugs (as George Michael demonstrated so well bless him).

It's astonishing how many cars they wrecked!!!!!!!!!!

I'd expected the M4 to a small compacted ball of metal after that but it seemed to be largly intact. Bit of T-Cut and it'll be fine.

I thought the rear carbon boot lip might be salvageable until they dropped the rear bumper on to it :D

The incredible thing is the violence of the collision with the Camaro (?) It isn't the M4 that hits it, it's the ruddy big rock.

I think what happens is the kerb on the roundabout launches the M4 and at the high speed it was travelling it clips the top of the rock and rolls it down the road into the Camaro otherwise the damage on the M4 would have been much greater.:movie:

It looks like a bit more than a clip!!!! That rock must weigh a couple of hundred kgs at least (I suspect more, but don't have any practice earth moving experience :D )

Looks like they're going for a small 8 series look.

This looks interesting

A cut price RS? Although it looks nice, I suspect it will suffer the usual VAG understeer 😞 Cost aside, I'd still put my money with the weird looking M3/4 I think and just walk up to the car from the side or the rear.

Arteon Shooting Brake seen testing but top engine probably going to be the 268bhp 4 cylinder 4WD Golf R detuned version at around £40,000.:hi:

Actually there is a fair bit of chat about it on the web, I suspect it will have an engine closely related to the S4 personally, not the VR6 engine-although that would be nice

Doesn't the S4 come with a diesel only engine option now 3.0TDi with about 350bhp.:notme:

The latest version does, at least here. The Chinese and Americans keep the petrol. Anyhoo, that's the engine I would bet on rather than the VR6 quoted in most articles or the Golf R engine. Bad enough that Merc are considering asimilar move without anyone else joining the party. Mind you a lighter engine might help the VW to handle

You mean like, say, fitting a 1.8T rather than the old VR6 boat anchor? ;)

It did sound rather nice though

Ah, those were the days 😞

Blimey, I've just read an article that I would have bet my house on,  would have been shared in this thread by now. I'll leave it a day or two and then I might be forced to post it myself............. :D
