Hi all.

 

Sorry if this topic has already come up, but I did a search and couldn't find anything.

 

I have a 2005 Fabia 1.4 TDi which I bought a month ago. I have noticed that every few days the front part of the black plastic trim that fills the roof gutters (and presumably holds on a roof rack) works itself loose.

 

Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, how would you suggest fixing it?

 

I am concerned that they are just going to rip right off if driving at speed or caught in high wind.

My wife's was like this for a few years eventually I used sikaflex and stuck them back down.
